you want me to raid in 6 different guilds on 6 different alts, 90% of guilds raid on the same days/nights,
1 sec let me just whip up a quick schedule:
monday - warrior - guild 1
tues - druid - guild 2
wed - mage - guild 3
etc
etc
etc
i aint a streamer, i gotta work, i gotta pug every now and then,

guarantee anyone that says " just join a guild " are the ones that are foaming at the mouth HR’ing anything shiny that drops from a boss.

" if i dont get alteast 4 BoE’s from ulduar to sell on the auction house im gunna go skitzzzz "

Why would you ever play 6 different characters?

Any way, You can HR stuff as well, just make your own group.

You are making up issues that are not there.

6 character’s? thats not a lot mate, you know there are players with 10, 15, 20 character’s, its wrath not vanilla.
i heard that 1 " content creator " has 32+.

Why do you want to play 6 different alts?

WoW is a hobby, not a full time job.

did you people not use the xp buff? 50% plus heirlooms? altogether 70% xp increase?
i went 70-80 in like 2 days with a flying mount, and you think 6 alts is a lot? do you raid log or something?

sorry if after a raid i like to level, especially with a 70% xp increase lol.

To have 6 lvl 80s isnt that much tbh but to actively try to raid on them is a lot, and sure most guilds wouldn’t care about your 5th alts gear but you have put yourself into the situation where you have to pug all the time and ofc people will the absolute best items because they put some effort into organizing the raid and in a pug its not like you will have that much of a reason to let another person get your bis item if you are not sure if you will ever see them again.

We all have alts, that doesn’t mean we play them as much as we do our mains.

They’re called “alts” for a reason.

never said that i want 6 mains, never said i want to play them all the same amount, i have my main, i have my alts, which i like to whack some gear on them,
do you just leave your alts in leveling gear?

This similar experience was there in Vanilla Classic also. I remember putting together my first UBRS run in Classic. Half full raid and enter the following idiotic players:

Can I get the skinning knife?
I’ll come if I can reserve the knife.
I’ll come if I can get all the green drops.
Is the sword reserved?
Can I reserve x loot?
Multiple variations of the above

I disbanded the raid and told everyone why, and I never did a UBRS run ever again. Reserving one item max in a raid is understandable, but ONLY the person who created the raid. The nerve to want to reserve something in someone else’s raid. I never encountered such crap from players back in the day beyond someone wanting the skinning knife.

Yes thanks Blizzard putting not enough loot per boss.
Forced to play with raid split guild to get more chance to loot because main charact prio is cancer

Yep, that’s me. If there’s just one upgrade I need from that raid and there is a lot of competition on it, I’m out. Can’t be arsed to help gear up people I will probably see never again. Why is that a problem? :slightly_smiling_face:

I play Blade & soul as my main game.

WOTLK is indeed mostly raidlog.

The character i leveled during XP boost got to 72 before the buff went away (tho might have started from 1)

I have several characters at 70… But leveling them to 80 and then redoing the gear/rep grind is just making me nauseous

Back in OG WotLK I was leading an Onyxia pug. The mount dropped, we rolled and I gave it to the winner. No entitlement. More people should be like me.

Why can’t a skinner roll on it?

What a primadonna haha. Do you act like a perulent child IRL as well?
Just tell them “no” and they will 90% join anyway. Can’t blame ‘em for tryin’.

  1. Get a guild. 2. make your own PuGs and dont HR anything.

Problem solved.

A bit dramatic, no? Just say ‘nothing reserved, don’t like it, leave’.

Even more dramatic  I can’t imagine there being not one single non SR/HR run during all of classic.

As to the OP: it is what it is I’m afraid. I don’t like it either but I kinda have to make my own HR runs if I want something. WoW back then was just designed that some items were insanely more powerful than others of similar ilvl.

For example I really need the Illustration trinket from OS. As disc priest it’s my bis until after ToC even, but if I just join a run it will be either be already hard reserved or soft reserved by 10 other casters. Even though I don’t like it, every week I make my own HR runs.

A job and a family usualy cut down on playtime, but i bet you got none of that?
