I’ve been playing Feral Druid for 10 years now, most likely in PVP, And I have to say that the Gameplay has never been as bad as in Dragonflight when it comes to this class
and i give the main reason Primal wrath (Aoe) for it, why Bleeds are like this, currently
Feral bleeds are Feeling weak in Single Target, (i dont know if this is the same in Pve)
But from my point of view it is a very bad design when a single target spell is also an aoe spell
Finishing move that deals instant damage and applies Rip to all enemies within 8 yards. Lasts longer per combo point.
So we have a spell that apply Rip on multiple targets, why is it bad?
It’s bad because it’s the same ability as the single target ability, this means, if u buff it because it does no Dmg in Singletarget, it will do TOO much dmg in Aoe Scenarios
This ability causes too many balancing problems, the dev where is responsible for feral, should either change the ID of RIP OR Primal Wrath Should apply a Aoe oriented Bleed with a New Name What also benefit from Ferals Mastery.
Like instead of Spreading Rip to all targets, Primal Wrath apply a Primal Bleed to all targets or any Kind of Rp Name, but not a Singletarget Bleed
So you can fully balance rip on single target damage again, without buffing/nerfing Aoe bleed in the Same time
I think the change wouldn’t cause any problems for PVE players, and would therefore help devs when it comes to the balance of Feral Bleeds in Single target, and Aoe.
