My BS public order page looks as it allways have with the headers…
Name, Player Name, Commission, Reagents and Time.
My jc looks different though but didnt use to.
Instead it has the headings Name, Commission(max), Commision(avg.) and Available.
Only when I select specific items it shows the headers as it used to be.
Does anyone know why?
I’m not sure what you mean
This is my Blacksmith
This is my JC
There’s two views that the UI has.
The first page is a list of all the items posted and is grouped by item name. Thats the one with Max/Avg columns. The second view you get is when you click on an item in that list and it gives you a list of all the players that want that item crafted. That’s the view without max/avg columns and with player names column.
If there is only a single request for each item then the UI defaults to the second list when you open it since there’s no need for the grouping view.
Basically it’s a simular system that the AH uses when your looking at gear where items can have different variations.
“None” Got to love people providing a 100g tip so you can afford buying 12k worth of mats for them.

and this is why players believe the public order system is a massive fail since they removed mandatory mats. Just implement this again and they whole system will look completely different.
BTW not sure if they system is realm specific but every single day its is exactly the same trolls over and over again. Ignore list is not big enough for all of them.

On Frostmane it’s always a bunch of people from the portable geese servers posting scam orders.
My JC looks the same as Punys but not my blacksmith and my BS I can see directly who has mats or not and since i cant see directly on my JC who has mats and who has not, its a lot of a bother to go through them all to see if there is one at all that do that. This only hurts the serious buyers.
Tailoring is just as bad. The same people every day posting for BoE crafts with no mats and no commission. I’m convinced many of them are one person posting on multiple characters (all hunters for some reason) probally becuase of the post cap.
The very same people can be found on the AH selling those BoE’s for large amounts of gold.
To be frank though. The problem here is not the ones that put in those orders without mats, but the ones that fills them out. If that wouldnt happen the scammers would quite soon dissapear.

True, you wouldn’t waste your time posting them if they never got completed. I think though that many that do complete them do so by mistake, not realising they have used their own mats and others complete them for the knowledge or skill points and accept that as a trade off.
That is the most plausable reason for it yes.
People are lazy and dont even see the warning.
I think that for the public order to work, it should be mandatory to provide all the mats.
If you cant afford it then either ask a guildie, friend or in trade chat.
Completely agree and there’s been multiple threads asking for that to be the case.
Yup. Read them all.
But for THAT to work you have to be able to set expected quality.

Public orders should require mats and allow setting of quality. Crafter’s should be able to guarantee quality / no more percent chance calculation, and material / item quality should be drastically simplified.

I rarely ever touch a public order, they are just scams. The change to not have to provide mats was a big mistake they don’t seem to want to undo.
That view is all public orders so if there are multiple listings I’d have to go into it to see exactly what is being provided.
Like there are 31 orders for ‘Ancient Ceremonial Trident’. It’s not until I click on that that I will see a list of 31 individual order listings for that item, they were all from one person and included all the materials but tipping just over 1g. Kind of thing I’d do for a personal order but not to use up one of my 4 public orders.
The bulk of the orders shown are for one item. None of them are worth my time though. Public order system is mostly a complete waste of space thanks to Blizz.
Even if this happens, the system is just as dead.
On my realm(medium, not low) there are 0,zero zip nada orders.
Not even scams, which are only like 2 once in a while.
So even if they revert that nothing will happen.
0 doesnt change to 100 if u compell people to provide mats.
Just my honest opinion.
Yea but desperado’s for a skill point will part 2k mats which essentially means they buying their skill points.
Can you take a screenshot of the issue and upload it somewhere?
You can link it here if you paste the url in, highlight, then use </>
