My take on the RDF situation

That wouldn’t fix the gatekeeping on fresh 80s. x)

It’s everywhere. Perhaps stop cherry-picking topics you pay attention to and you’d see RDF is a wanted QoL feature among many.

This is painful to read lol, the content is literally designed for around that gearscore. People are so entitled. If you want a super overgeared group you should form it manually instead of biting a 30m deserter and griefing everyone else. IMO if they add RDF, the deserter debuff you get should block you from entering a heroic dungeon for the duration, so you can’t even manually do the dungeon after you ragequit the group finder.

I don’t even see asmongold content on r/classicwow reddit, I’m so confused? He is barely involved with classic now

I always form my groups my friend  im a tank so it’s really easy and I get everything done literally in seconds with around 200 whispers from people. That’s not the point - my point is that not everyone has the same luxury as me and I totally understand that and feel really sorry for some dps who never get invited in groups because of their class. You also have to understand nobody wants to struggle in a dungeon and wants it over ASAP within a maximum of 20-25 minutes. That’s just the way it is. Its not elitism or people being entitled. You want people who are capable and not wasting your time. And no, heroic + is definitely not designed for 3K GS unless you want to struggle and wipe a few times with a completion time of approximately 45-50 minutes, which would get people enraged. Anyway my point was to bring back the old world alive, I don’t want this discussion to be around HC+. I just think that RDF for only low levels up until level 70 maybe would satisfy both parties and is a good middle ground serving only good - after all everyone loves to see the world full of players, especially low levels, fresh blood for potential raiding guilds aswell.

Not jealous, but i know blizzard wow communtity is the same type of players watching him and they are involved in alot of decisions in classic. For example that they didnt remove black proto drake in phase 2.

This is an assumption. I for one don’t agree with that take at all.

I for one don’t see the point in having a tool like it is now. Imho it’s just RDF with extra steps. Besides that… It give’s one leader all the power to kick someone at random if they’d like. In the RDF it was at least somewhat democratic… Somewhat… you’d still SOMETIMES get kicked for no reason.

Can’t be worse than it currently is, 2 weeks and phase 2 changed everything dramatically. I see party leader going through randoms as if they were tissue wipes.

Invite, summon, GS too low, Kick
Invite, summon, GS too low, Kick
Invite, summon, GS okay, but might need on item he needs too, Kick

Whatever the random dungeon finder experience was, it in no way can be worse than current situation for solo queue’s. What i’m witnessing in-game now is borderline abuse that sees players as an npc resource, not even a comment or anything.

Discarded scratch cards… Never seen something so inhumane in retail or classic before.

Players had no say about that, classic blizzard philosophy when it comes to mounts and achievements

They said they would seek advice from community council, they do have alot of influence.

Oh you mean when they listen to the minority elitists? Like they used to, maybe they have learned this time
