My Theory, Anduin is Caila Menethils lost son and Arthas nephew

Hi all fellow Warcraft fans,

I am positively sure that Anduin is Caila Menethils son who´s fate is unknown.

I base this theory on Anduins strong resemblance to Arthas as well as Caila Menethil recognizing similiar traits in Anduin to her younger brother, Arthas.

Additionally, no one knows what happened to her son and husband when South shore was attacked, this is when he was escorted to Stormwind (Having a claim to the throne since he is the only heir of Terenas Menethil).

I am sure this will be revealed in Shadowlands, as Anduin will gain help from Arthas to defeat Sylvannas.

Remember where you Heard this when it all plays out in the coming expansion.

Also remember that Anduin is the son of Varian and Tiffin.

Haha yes that’s what want you to believe (before the turning point). Similar to game of thrones, you would have been one of those saying “John can’t be a targaeryn he is son of Ned”.

I am positively sure, we know as a stone hard fact, his dad is Varian and his mom is Tiffin… :thinking:
How do you explaine that?
And I mean REAL explanation not “okay, if you belive what they told you ,but…”
Theorycrafting is nice and good for the mental health but you have to suppot your theories by facts you know…

I know you are probably a little too young to understand this, but when 2 people love eachother very much… You know what, go ask your parents about that one.
Point is, as mentioned above, the facts(That you didn’t bother to look up) is that Anduin is the genetic offspring of Varian Wrynn and Tiffin Ellerian Wrynn, not Calia, not Arthas, not Hogger and not Murloc nr. 70814.
There is just no way around it.

This theory in a nutshell: Dead-dead Varian gets NTR’d by alive-dead Calia who steals his adopted son.

only way it would even be plausible is that Anduin is not the real son of Varian and Tiffin, but an impostor put there buy lady catrana prestor (onyxia), and the real anduin is eighter dead or imprisoned somewhere.
what would be realy hard to pull through, becuse of Tirion pretty much raising Anduin.

Also let’s not forget that in the novel “War Crimes” even someone like Garrosh at his trial said straight in the face to Anduin that he resembled Arthas a lot and that probably he was closer to Arthas a lot more than he imagined, and even Anduin was shocked by this and didn’t deny it right away but he needed a bit of time…so yeah Blizzard could have put hints about this theory even since quite a lot of time ago :open_mouth:
