Are you one of those people that permanently bring up that the team isnāt doing scrum right in every retrospective?
Tired or explaining basic stuff to so called software engineers that are just monkey coders and donāt know anything about how a product is actually being delivered outside of their for loops.
You won, you are right, tired of being trolled. Not gonna reply anymore.
You are wrong with this. They do not failed to gather feedbackā¦they just dont care about it. There is always small window before expansion release when they trying to look like they listen but they listen only to activison managers feedback. Well who can blame them they have to obey their bossesā¦but it sucks.
Cheers
, shouldnāt have made a thread like this in the first place ![]()
Or they disagree with the feedback, which is a very valid (but sometimes disapponting) thing to do.
But the point is that you have to do 380+ bgs with 50% winrate to have m+3 gear. You can have this in a week playing pve. End of story
Yeah I get your point of Blizzard not being agile enough when it comes to player feedback based on current live game, but as I said in the next paragraph, they do react fast in SL beta. They listen, they react, they change how things work in Beta. Implementing big changes to retail live game is a different story.
Imagine the horror if they change how the game works bi-weekly (which is average release cycle in agile) by constantly listening player feedback and react to it. Today players want one thing, tomorrow they want the complete opposite.
Bug fixes and minor issues are a different thing and weāve seen a lot of fixes in BfA, but for example changing how players obtain PvP gear is not a minor issue or something that goes under a ābug fixā. It is a feature, or even an epic level requirement and you just donāt implement those just like that.
You do know how feedback works in WoW, right?
There is a decision-state - for example, āPvE and PvP gear is interchangeableā or āfaster to get gear in PvE than PvPā.
The people who DISLIKE this state set themselves on fire in YT vids and the forums.
The people who LIKE this state say nothing.
Therefore all feedback - as perceived from the shallow point of view of those who just read the comics - always appears negative, for all decisions. (Also, writing positive feedback is uninteresting, so few people do that, and rarely.)
If the devs were naĆÆve enough to believe this, they would be swinging back and forth with their decisions even more than they actually do.
It is my guess, and I know it is only a guess, that Blizzard believe that having easy access to PvP-effective gear is better for the game overall than restricting PvP-specific gear to PvP rewards. Or, to put it another way, they would rather force the minority of PvPers to pursue PvE than to force the majority to pursue PvP for the best gear fastest. And they also didnāt want to give the real tryhards two bites at equal cherries each week, one in PvE and one in PvP. (They seem to be trying to address this in a different way in SL with the Vault.)
Now, people here may be shocked and appalled that I could believe that Blizzard is not explaining their true reasoning in full and with complete honesty, but I confess to being guilty of that. ![]()
TL;DR - you are confusing the feedback you are looking at with the overall feeling of the playerbase, and then assuming that Blizzard are equally confused. I donāt dispute that they are confused, but they are likely confused on a higher level, and with much more feedback than you are seeing.

Covenants are mistake only to people. What do not like playing mmorpg games which means their opinion have no value since WoW is mmorpg.
yeah but that was the issue because the esl basically destroyed pugs with their weird point system they implemented. thats not the games fault.
