MoP simply best mostly from content and class fantasy system classes was fun full of options and things for optimize + reforge. (God i would pay anything to bring MoP Warlock back or WW monk/BM hunter/Death knights…)
Edit: They basically butchered and simplified Shadow priest from iteration from MoP.

S tier: shadowlands because it has pvp vendors.
Also Legion because you didn’t need gear at all to be competitive, meaning that only skill mattered
T tier: BFA (t stands for trash) only good thing about bfa was the mounts and revamp in leveling. The fact that I managed to level 50 chars to max in one expansion tells you how much I enjoyed the end game…
Wod table missions were the only missions worth doing. Legion, bfa and now sl missions are useless
S tier: Legion, TBC, WOTLK
A tier: Cata,MoP
B tier: WoD, Classic, Shadowlands(It’d be higher, if not the for loot scare)
C tier: BFA
S Tier: WOTLK - I was downright addicted to the game, got pretty much every faction to exalted, raided often, got realm firsts, had the best PvP, best fun ratio and lore.
I was logging in every day without fail even when we did ICC for basically a year.
A Tier: BC - Got me addicted, loved the progression within the game, PvP was fun, PVE was fun, the community was great back then before LFG.
Classic - Good memories and nostalgia for a few months.
B: Tier: WoD - Marginally better than MoP but still made me lose interest for another year.
Cata - Was kinda fun but still didn’t hook me to the game as much.
C Tier: MoP - Garbage expansion that was the first expansion to make me truly lose interest in WoW for an entire year.
Unranked: Shadowlands - Too early to form an opinion.
If u rate MoP as worst expansion then SL will be S tier for you.Obviously time gating,FOTM and lack of meanifull activities is go for you and u will be happy.
If you’re listing BC below S/A tier then you either didn’t play during that time, or came at the end of it…my 2 cents.

The story of Guldan and Illidan
People didn’t think it was grindy coming out of vanilla
Awesome looking tier sets
People were nicer and making sure you had good and clean name mattered if you wanted to get recruited by guilds

I didn’t play Wod, Legion, but they seem like D tier, C tier at best.
Can someone tell me which Tier is the lowest? I want to put Shadowlands in there.

I wasn’t around for vanilla and tbc even though I knew about the game, because it was everywhere back then. I’ve also opted out of playing MoP as I thought the setting and pandas where just ridiculous. Looking back I think I actually would even like it, I just could not imagine it back then, felt so un-WoW.
S Tier- MoP (Literally perfect/peak class design, perfect mix of old/new WoW dev/systems, amazing content, beautiful zones, decent story, PvE/PvP both equally respected by devs, gearing was smooth. Literally not seen an argument other than the cringey “I hAte PaNdA” comments against MoP, it’s aged incredibly well and people judged the setting/Pandaren way too harshly)
A Tier-
B Tier- WoD (I uuuh… loved Ashran, Raids were close to best we’ve had, PvP was good, Story was fine, Had issues for sure but it was SO CLOSE to being great, mission table crap was lame. RIP REAL SURVIVAL HUNTER) Vanilla (pretty fun, but jank.)
C Tier- BfA (Everything I’d say has been said but: Borrowed power and titanforging cringe, AP is trash, Raids were great though, Story was alright, peak “carrot on a stick” systems that everyone saw right through. Quit after raid collapsed midway into BfD mythic progress)
“Made me ragequit for 2 years” Tier- Legion (Got my first legendary 3 weeks after everyone else, it was Sephuz’s on a class that can’t proc it. Uninstalled and unsubbed the same day and didn’t comeback until just before BfA prepatch)
Shadowlands is lining up to be a solid A, maybe an S if they don’t mess anything up and fix the slight pain points.
