S: wrath, Bc (started playing, everything was new and exciting + had a lot of irl friends playing with me)
A: mop (start raiding in a decent casual guild then proceed into semi hard-core guild, had a lot of time to play and it was actually super enjoyable in every way, pvp/pve. Didn’t like too much daily quests)
B: legion, sl (burned-out in maw dungeon huh… haven’t played for half of it, came back in last patch and actually had a lot of fun. Sl feels kinda similar, but I’m afraid I’m going to burn out same way idk, not yet tho)
C: bfa (was pretty enjoyable at the end, had 3 fully geared characters and it was fun to play due to how overpowered you felt with corruption and neck)
D: wod (Facebook integration instead of new content, pruning, apexis crystals, very very bad launch, huge player drop, overhyped, one-sided ashran, garrison was not what I expected, good raids tho)

Dunno where to put WoD, Legion really… i wasnt around MoP too, but the addition of melee baboon monk class and that allied race, which is played mostly by the passive aggresive edgy players made it C

SL, it’s too early to tell. Has potential but it depends a little on how it develops. I’d place it at an A- atm.

Some can say we can’t really rate Shadowlands as we didn’t see whole expansion, so my opinion on SL is “So far”

I will list only the expansions that I tried.
TBC is my favorite, followed closely by WOTLK.
WoD is still one of my favorite, I know it had issues but it was fun.
Shadowlands is not bad, it needs work and it’s too early to judge.
BFA/Legion I absolutely hated them and quit early in the expansion.

A: TBC, Cata, Legion
B: WoD ----- SL right now, going down
C: BFA
SL is currently at the level of WoD. WoD was miles better on PVP, but worse on some other aspects. However, for SL we are only looking at the first month or so, it has many big issues and unless these issues are fixed, SL is going to join BFA, if not create a new D tier for itself. If they change things for the better, though, SL might go up to A or even S.
