I had a dream, dream of a new class, a hero class. A “specialization” if you will, a class that would be able to manipulate the people in their own raid in ways that would help the group
This class would be support only, no damaging spells, only raid support
Example :
Ability 1: Instant cast : Teleport people from one area to another
Ability 2 : Increase “element” resistance in selected area
Ability 3 : Increase speed on selected group by 50% for 10 seconds
Ability 4 : Target group has an option to go berserk, increasing attack speed by 40% but losing 5% hp every second
Ability 5: People in targeted area have levitate, hovering over the ground to avoid ground effects for 10 seconds
Ability 6 : 5 sec cast, resurrect target healer (would be recognized by selected spec)
Ability 7 : Target group has a bouncing shield, every melee attacker is pushed away as soon as he approaches the targeted character
Imagine this idea as an initial idea that can be upgraded, when a character reaches may level, he can opt out of his class and become a mystic class, or something, IDK it’s just an idea, a raid manipulator class if you will
Back in days Hunter has team buff called aspect of cheetah with no CD and give movement speed for whole team but also daze target if he gets damage. Just imagine if some Hunter forgot to turn off aspect of cheetah and whole raid keep getting dazed.
Also Hunter pet have ninja pulling bosses many times. Hunters we’re infamous in past that’s why old school people call huntards even these days.
And we talking about one class buffing whole team - 1 misuse and he will be in jail.
You’d cook food and throw it at party/raid members, giving them all sorts of buffs/heals. Though this one would have it’s own damage, could use a piece of ham to beat on enemies, mostly high damage and knockback.
Also one alternative is bard, playing music to empower your allies, basically a support class.
