Why do you think so, and how hard is it to learn for someone who never played it before
It performs pretty well with the 1 button rotation. So not really hard
Has a reputation of being hard from like 6 expansions ago and has never recovered from it. It is just as easy as any other class these days

That is actually confirmation for how hard feral really is. Because what you perceive as one button rotation performing pretty well, is still a massive 25% dps loss!

This. People really have severe brain lag when it comes to forming opinions by themselves. Instead they choose to spout outdated echoes of other people’s comments.
This is not about needing help. If you play all classes you know the feral rotation is harder than the rest.
It’s the last class with snapshotting, and then you got to watch buffs (timing), debuffs (upkeep and pre-spread with swarm), procs, pandemic window (on multiple dots), energy starvation (energy pooling), combo points, 3 generators for bloodtalons, generators with charges, convoke randomness… etc.
To be clear, i don’t hate the current rotation. It’s hard but i have the muscle memory for it now. It could be made much more beginner friendly though if it was closer to Assassination Rogue (except for Deathstalker’s Mark, that thing needs to be deleted).

The 1 button rotation is awful, you lose almost half your damage, how much of a beginner are you actually for writing something like this

If it wasnt, you wouldnt play balance and your rating wouldve been at least Average.
(im not trying to rating shame you, but there must be something backing up your claims after you clearly are not willing to explain why and finishing with “feral is not hard. simple as that”
Hard is subjective. Me needing to hyper focus on the debuff bar and snapshot my bleeds, in a hectic M+ run (as an example), is hard af in my book.
But then again all DPS roles are hard for me since I can’t tunnel vision for shii.
Harder then some other specs may be but not nearly as hard as some people seem to believe.
Which other spec is harder to play optimally?
in pve it isnt that hard anymore, harder than dh/ret/warri ? for sure, but not as hard as it was few expansions ago.
in PvP it is harder, if u struggle with fake casting/ to handle the high amount of micro cc´s
so overall
PvP : harder with the exception of 2s completely easy with an mw monk
PvE : easier compared to few expansions Ago, in my opinion rdrood is harder to play than feral if u do cat weaving.
Rogue and feral were.
After global combo points they are not so.
Its rather true cause I did good on my ret pala and on my feral druud I struggle to keep up and die fast when focused.

Im not trying to rating shame im trying to extrapolate a statement based on logic, since he refuses to back himself up, the only thing i remain with is what i can actually see.
And thats the rough data.
Now thats usually something i wouldnt be interrested in if he had an arugment for an argument is as truthful no matter where you stand and who you are.
