I know they drop 340 gear. You can also spam warfronts for 340 gear?
340 is not mythic raiding caliber of gear.
Also, I know you can spam +2s, and get thet level of gear.
Is that the reason? Force 2+??
Doesn’t really matter, I am not sour or anything. I just got done yesterday of spamming warfronts over 2 nights (maybe 7 hours total) to get 340+ ilvl.
This is an alt, and already have a feel for the dungeons, so doesn’t really seem like a reason to do normal mythic dungeons.
I was just curious why they have a one week lockout??
At the start of the expansion it stops people from farming gear 24/7, and the system also partially exists because before Legion there wasn’t mythic+ which you could just farm for gear, so mythic dungeons were a once per week thing, which carried over. I honestly don’t see the problem with that either. Like you said, just do mythic+. And I do feel like it’s partially that Blizzard want’s players to engage in mythic+ content as well instead of just spamming normal mythics.
Well it’s a aged system put in place to prevent overfarming. These days they could probably remove daily restrictions on hc and the mythic lock outs and it whould have no effect on the overall gameplay. However their there to prevent people from fully gearing up at the start of expansions.
If the lock out got removed people whould just do the content most appropiate to them all the time, which whould leave some dungeons totally void of certain classes. For example I whould had been very likely just spamming Tol Dagor untill i were done there etc. We whould also seen 1000+ groups(hyperboling) for freehold because of Crackers and maybe 1-2 for Siege of Boralus.
