Meanwhile im not a rwf bootlicker, this prob wont affect it, since its 100% hacked kill and blizzard gonna remove it.

Yes, ofc it will be removed if it is hacking. It doesn’t change the fact RWF is meaningless.

For it to be an actual race, it should at least be on a dedicated race/tournament server like MDI, so:

  • Same weekly reset time for everyone worldwide
  • Every guild/character has the same premade gear/ilevel (like MDI), so viewers don’t need to watch the meaningless split pushes/gear farming, and guilds don’t need to spend gold on gear trade or other exploits, etc.
  • Forbid raid test on PTR, so there is real excitement and surprise factor in the race

Current RWF is just bunch of pros that doing spilt pushes, wiping hundreds of times on the same time, while doing their tactics since PTR. It is a waste of time and more boring than watching world quests.

That’s straight up hacking. They went straight to Gallywix first, which means they found a way to glitch in, then took down three more bosses. In green gear.

Update: the guild is gone from armory.

maybe at least release mythic on the same day for all IDK. Asian guilds afaik have no chance as they start even later than EU…

We immediately began an investigation into these unusual kills, and we detected a group of new accounts using an exploit to cast an internal spell to kill Mythic raid bosses, including Chrome King Gallywix.

Our security engineers quickly moved to put a stop to the cheat and take action against the accounts involved, and we have cleared the Hall of Fame to await the rightful winner of the RWF.

Thank you to everyone who reported this. We will continue to employ the utmost vigilance about fair play in World of Warcraft.

I want to say lifetime ban, but it sounds like they intentionally spun up burner accounts anyway.

A decent stunt I guess, but at least they had enough respect/fear not to do it on their actual main accounts - or expect it to stick :dracthyr_hehe_animated:
