You exaggerate on the 400k dps. And you know it. That is literally auto-attack dps.
And if a player is so AFK that he does 400k auto-attack damage then it’s STILL fine on a 2+ (which is the level we are talking about: entry level). He will learn that he has to press atleast 1 button.
And if he does press at-least 1 button he does way more than 400k. And that is enough to time a 2+ and you know it.
I am insisting on a 2+ because this whole post is about “inaccessibility to casual players”. It IS accessible. Its a FACT.
You on the other hand are describing your gameplay as if you played on key levels way above a 2+. So you should play at those key levels, and stop hanging around with the “newbies” if you want to give them a name. But if you DO hang out with them, know their limitations skill wise.
Get those 2+ done with out whining, get some gear and move on to levels you feel more comfortable in. How long should that take you? 1 afternoon? 2? You got ALL season to do it. But stop having unrealistic expectations while you are at it.

On this topic, I believe Mythic+ is very accessible for casual, I call myself that, but many people don’ t want to invest Time into getting better, understanding stuff. That has nothing to do with casual unfriendly !

I am still looking at playing ranged. It is really difficult to stay in there all the time. And blizzard really has a fetish to put healing checks on moments you get swirlies everywhere.
are u trying to get into groups with this char u post here on? if so its no wonder u dont get accepted. ur 619ilvl. thats 20ilvl below last seasons max gear.
even for low keys alot of players applying to groups will have quite better gear then u. like put some effort into gearing and u should see alot more success.
How? Gear progression isn’t good this season unless you start jumping on the M+ train at 620 ilvl onwards.
Heroic dungeons drop 619 gear while Normals aren’t even worth mentioning as the loot is 597, a whole 9 item levels below the min requirement to even queue for Heroic. You can upgrade Heroic pieces to 632 ilvl if you’re willing to put in 30x the time grinding out a craptonne of Valorstones and Weathered Undermine Crests (the latter of which are hardcapped.)
Mythic is a borderline no-go because I only ever see groups for The Rookery and Cinderbrew Meadery in Group Finder because those places are literally in the Isle of Dorn, and anything Mythic is on a weekly loot lockout, so that’s 7 chances to get loot from a boss per week. The only reason you’d want to grind it repeatedly is if the Mythic Dungeon event is going on. Nobody seems to be doing Darkflame Cleft, Priory of the Sacred Flame, Operation Floodgate or any of the BFA/SL dungeons in this season’s rotation on regular Mythic, likely because they’re much further out to travel to.
Delves can only be done up to 4 times a week for loot based on bountiful coffer key drops. They’re also tediously overtuned for DPS to the point where you’ll die quickly on trash pulls from Tier 6 onwards, unless you’re playing a tank and essentially become immortal.
“LFR exists”, you might say. Enjoy waiting hours to queue up to kill 2, maybe 3 bosses. Eight chances of loot each week. And this is an environment where votekicking is ripe for abuse.
For some reason, the aforementioned content also drops a disproportionate amount of crap you don’t need, like bracers, capes, jewellery and trinkets. Good luck actually getting something that can be converted into a tier set item.
by now u couldve obtained multiple 636 and one 649 pieces from the weekly quests.
then obviously delves +8 are a great way to obtain 639 pieces from the chests with coffer keys and they also give u a 649 vault. u can get 4 coffer keys every week simply from weeklys and when u use them in the delves u get -Radiant Echo- with which u can obtain additional keys.
then u can do the campaign for a free 658 crafting piece and also get two additional 645 crafted pieces just by using the sparks that are available up to this point. wednesday ull be able to make one more 645 piece.
m0 is a great way to gear early on and u have one chance for gear for every single boss. its way way faster to gear with m0 compared to m+ since in m+ ull only get gear at the end of the dungeon if ur lucky. and there are groups up for multiple different dungeons not only the two u mentioned.
also for every world quest u do in warmode ull get 100 bloody tokens and multiple times a week there are quests up that reward u 600 tokens. u can rather quickly farm the current maximum of 3550 tokens with which u can obtain up to five pieces with 632 ilvl.
its rly not that hard to increase ur ilvl from 619 if u actually want to do so.

been going ok until i tried the swampface boss, struggeled so much to heal that one
