doesnt answer my issue, m+ is worthless because gear is easier to get elsewhere and garbage because the players who god worship them (you) cant seem to realise getting home from work trying to get a group for the hour or two i can play and being declined perma because i was busy in the first week of m+. Its a joke gamemode
A) Answering 17 days later might be considered a ânecroâ at this point.
B) The âoh no, I have a jobâ card is worthless. I have a job too, and 2 kids, and many things as well. And I dont wait what you have to wait. Because the instant I get online I have 5 whisps and 10 guildies that want to do things.
So its a YOU problem. You dont want to invest in people in the game, and now⊠you are surprised when people dont want to invest in you.
One of the funniest problem I frequently run into in M+ is that your team mate tends to think YOUR kit is the same as THEIR kit.
A DH Tank runs in ahead of the group and dies, because their team mates havenât arrived yet to interrupt and CC.
Why? Because theyâre so used to doing this everywhere else, and are basically immortal as a tank in any other content until M+ finally put them in their place.
Now, I know this is hard to understand, because the internet has conditioned you that the answer is blaming people. But maybe, maybe, in the past couple of years, the problem is that the game has been too tuned for M+
Some classes/specs are tuned for mid/high tier M+, but when you put them in lower content? The balance goes exponential worse in reverse
A tankâs kit is tuned to survive a +10 onslaught with their team mates as an example. But when you put them in a Heroic Dungeon or delve in reverse? Immortal. And this conditions them terribly until higher difficulties humble them.
You do not have to join any discord to find others to play with you can just go with pugs in the group finder. However if you want a rage free environment with people who will complete your key then the communities are an option.
Most guilds utilise discords already, itâs not really a foreign concept for communities to do the same.
Just an outside observation, but arenât those communities doing the greater community a disservice?
I mean, because communities exist by way of knowing, then the players in them are inevitably going to be those who seek to play with better players than those they find in the broader playerbase.
That would have a knock-on effect over time where the âbetter playersâ cut themselves off from the broader playerbase and only play within their communities. And that in turn leaves the broader playerbase with an even greater portion of âundesiredâ teammates.
Communities kind of end up like cliques, and if youâre not in one, youâre screwed.
Well then just get in one! But that seek and find process is a natural selection in itself, and those who donât go through it will naturally be those left behind struggling to play in groups with all the rable of the broader playerbase.
Ideally the game should move toward unifying players more and more, not create an environment where the good isolate themselves from the rest. That just makes the environment extra terrible for the rest.
Pug toxicity has been pushing nicer (not necessarily better) players into guilds/communities/cliques for many years.
The social cohesion that follows tends to enable them to have a better time, even if their direct skill level isnât so hot.
Iâve even made a habit of directing people who seemed nice to communities if I can see the pug world is treating them unkindly. The pug pool loses a player, the community gains a person who just needs a bit of investment to shine.
Sorry, pug pool, but thatâs on you.
I actually agree, but the only way to make this happen is to lower the difficulty so that more/most people can succeed on a basic weekly 10 for the vault. But Blizzard apparently do not want to do that. Definitely not this season.
We wonât be able lower selectivity unless we lower difficulty.
Which bm hunter can make 8 keys?
Play BM Hunter in Pug and tell us about your experiences.
raids returned to 226.
Which BM Hunter can be among these 10 people?
âJoin a communityâ is the WoW version of a boomer saying âJust buy a house.â
Itâs good advice while the supply is more than demand. Once everyone is in a community there will still be a massive shortage of tanks and healers, just inside the community.
Still made 0 friends so far meanwhile maining a tank and multiple tank alts and 1 healer alt, not even getting added for the benefits, i feel so lonely right now , and i absolutely hate my autism, not to mention that my own voice gives me anxiety right now.
First of all, all those communities mentioned are discord servers.
When players need to use 3rd party (discord) to find a game community, instead of in-game tools LFD/LFG (Battle.net even specifically added the function of joinning groups/communities), there is big problem already.
those communities breed nothing but elitism and cutting out weaker players from doing content in game.
just the fact that they are build around extrenl tools like discord not via in game communities tool is making them extremly unaproachable for masses.
plus stupid rules like " you cannot leave no matter what you have to caryr little jonny the community memebr on his 10th alt on which he cannot play on " as undesirable for most of people
why bother joining them when you will be kicked if you refuse to carry underperformes just becuase they are part of community
Unaproachable? Why? Because people are stubborn? People prefer to be a victim and complain instead of taking responsibility for their own fun and taking action.
Does not apply to any community i am in.
People are just making up nonsense to be a victim. It is plain childish.
Do you want to play? Take action.
Problem is, you want quality players for quite difficult stuff. Those will almost never be in in-game systems. Because no matter what Blizz does, except for merging like 5 different apps or websites into the game, the networking, PvE KPIs and other business-building tools for quality players will be outside of WoW as a game.
Welcome to the forums where if you got an issue than doing it the old âman up, find a way and deal with itâ is so 2000s. Its more modern now to âthrow a tantrum and demand mommy Blizzard come and kiss the booboo to make it hurt lessâ.
You donât need to. You can use LFG. Just expect that LFG is filled with people, who have the âsolo-playerâ mindset of clicking through LFG groups their whole evening. There is also another type of player, who puts in their own key and waits 1 hour, until they find people to carry them. Many are also very salty, and itâs not surprising with the way, they play this game. Those Discord Communities, Guilds, etc. are very good for the game, because itâs a healthier player experience than anti-social solo Rio-ladder-climbing.
And yeah, some things are outsourced by third party, cuz why not?
