Mythic Nerub-ar Palace Tuning Incoming - 2 October

With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’ll make the following adjustments to the Mythic difficulty raid:

Nerub-ar Palace

Broodtwister Ovi’nax

  • Broodtwister Ovi’nax health reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Experimental Dosage duration increased to 8 seconds on Mythic difficulty.
  • Poison Burst cast time increased to 4 seconds on Mythic difficulty.
  • Volatile Concoction periodic damage reduced by 30% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Mutation: Accelerated increases movement speed of Blood Parasites by 10% every 2 seconds (was every 1 second) on Heroic and Mythic difficulties.
  • Blood Parasites are no longer immune to crowd control while casting Infest.
  • Fixed an issue where Blood Parasites would sometimes melee players.
  • Vile Discharge damage reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.

Nexus-Princess Ky’veza

  • Health reduced by 10% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Chasmal Gash now persists through death on all difficulties.
  • Assassination damage reduced by 20% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Twilight Massacre damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Queensbane damage over time effect reduced by 17% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Queensbane expiration damage reduced by 25% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Starless Night damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Eternal Night damage reduced by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
  • Fixed an issue causing Assassination and Twilight Massacre to pierce some immunities on all difficulties.

The Silken Court

  • Motes will now spawn more reliably at each player’s exact location.

At this point, why not just have a separate difficulty for the race to world first, and then balance Mythic as it’s actually intended to be from the very start?

It seems silly that Mythic starts a week after Heroic, but actually it really starts the reset after the race to world first.

And what do the difficulties even stand for anymore when they go through a series of increasing nerfs over the course of a 6 months long season? How is a boss at the beginning of a season in any way comparable to the same boss by the end of the season?

its obviously we live in a 2 class system. game before this stupid event and after. its probably better to start after the game is finished and cleaned thn buy it on release

What else do you expect, this has been the case ever since RWF was a thing :stuck_out_tongue:

Well guilds have been racing ever since classic back in 2004 then .

True, I still remember the original World First achievement popping up.

PvP tuning where?

Havoc, Holy priest, Arms all continue to be unplayable and require multiple quality of life buffs

Hunters, Discipline priest, Feral druids, Subtlety rogues are compltely out of control and require multiple nerfs

At least now we’ll be able to PUG it

100% ! And dont forget class balance as well. Blizz dosent want to touch specs too much cause it might affect the RTWF. Its classic at this point.

What guilds ?
There are like 2/3 guilds in the last 10 years with no changes…

Also beside those 2/3 guilds the other kills are 1 month after getting full gear/upgrades and the boss nerfed by 20%

Other than Method-Echo-Liquid the rest are waiting for nerfs …nerfs

If there weren’t any nerfs each season barely 50-100 guilds would end up killing the last boss

Yo blizzard either stop doing this
Or move their competition into a dedicated server.

Gear should be only nerf to mythic bosses
it’s according to you a ultimate challange so why are you doing this?

Why are you overtuning bosses in the first place?
where is the fun in that?

Re read what i said and then come back to me thanks.

No they’re not.

Nice, was long waited.

I see you learned the Anduin lesson and the Tindral lesson…

then you go and get a boss out like Ovi’nax and Ky’vesa.

Completely deaf or you didnt tell the truth?

Bad design kills guilds. guild that die means losing players, they leave. their social circle is not more.

I would like to see a PVE tournament realm, have all world first guild go there with merchant, get all the gear and do whatever race they want to do in that realm. Once they set foot in the raid a timer start that finishes when last boss is dead. The winner with shortest time is declared the winner. Put every extravagant silly difficulty in that realm and leave the wow retail realms with raids that are NOT balanced for the world first.

No, you won’t.

Thats a FACT!

So, so well said. These constant pre-planned nerfs are infuriating, primarily because you know that it’s overtuned as hell at this very moment in time because you know it’s going to be nerfed 6 more times already and you know they’ve planned for it even though they have a gear system that’s supposed to take care of this sort of thing automatically.

This isn’t fun for anybody.

Yes, I will.

You think you’ll be able PuG mythic raids?
