I’ve hit a roadblock going up against The Demon Within from the Gul’dan encounter, it just doesn’t seem possible, since there’s no way to remove the healing debuff.
I’ll get him to about 50% with burst and then down to just over 30% thanks to Ice Block to remove the parasites and spellstealing the Bulwark of Azzinoth. But then the parasite damage and stun overwhelms me before I can secure the kill.
Is there any way around it or am I just gonna have to wait until SL?
You can bring another person along right ? 
I don’t have any particular tips. I’ve been farming him solo for NM/HC, but for the Mythic kills i tend to just join or create a small group.
It sounds like one more lvl 120 person might already do the trick for you.

i’ve got the same problem. DH maybe 25%-30% then i die. Druide no chance to negate the first parasite.
do you avoid the first parasite when last phase starts and then do it again?
I just did it with my fire mage with 0 consumables, so the dps check shouldn’t be too difficult. Just make sure you have heroism and all your cooldowns ready for it. Use pot/flask/food if you’re not going to be able to do it without them.
I don’t know if arcane is better than fire for this, with the constant stunning and what not. I’d recommend trying fire instead.
