Mythic plus: what don't you like?

That would be nice, however there would also need to be some way of depleting keys if you so wished.

I really dislike the spotters in Siege.

I too hate this tactic as caster.

I can somewhat understand what you mean, but i do not agree at all.

If you level an alt, then you have already been through uldir once so from a story perspective, it doesn’t matter, with the only exception being if people start now without having played BFA yet, but that makes up a vast vast minority of the playerbase.

The big problem with what you are suggesting, is that almost all players move on to the next tier, that means no one is playing uldir anymore. If you have to go to uldir for upgrades it is gonna take you ages to find a group which is a horrible idea. The leveling process is already arbitrarily long, don’t make the gearing process to start the real gearing process longer too.

The reason they do this is so you don’t get insanely high in the dungeons, so they rescale the dungeons every season, but then you also need to up the ilvl reward for obvious reasons, else we would see pros in the 30s by now, and probably 40s in the next season, and at that point, you have split m+ way too much, like no one is gonna do a +2 with the new guy if the average player is doing 20s because of no rescaling.

Again dude, the only really relevant competitive content should imo be the current tier and m+ season, no reason force you to go through dead content. If you want the story of going through there, go for lfr, but don’t force people to spend hours finding groups for content that is outdated just to get to the actual game.

My two biggest complaints about Mythic+ are these:

  • We need the ability to delete keys. If you want to penalize us for doing so (which I am totally okay with), you can decrement the level by 1, or even 2. But honestly, there are certain dungeons I just don’t want to do with certain affixes. I want the option to be able to opt out.
    > Alternatively, they could give us the ability to “veto” 1 dungeon so that we don’t get a key to that dungeon no matter what, unless we voluntarily run that dungeon with a different person’s key.

  • The class comp meta right now is quite broken and frankly boring. I am okay with them keeping it that way for Season 2, but there should be changes in Season 3. Specifically, nearly every group wants a prot warrior, resto druid, and at least 1 rouge. To fix this, they could do one or more of the following things:
    > Give certain mobs stealth detection in some dungeons, not all.
    > Nerf resto druid mastery, or buff alternative healing classes.
    > Nerf prot warrior damage. I’d ask for a buff to Guardian, but that would be biased on my part

Certain affixes are annoying, I really hate necrotic for example. But, I can understand that they are part of the challenge and are a necessary evil.

The novelty is gone, only grinding remains.

  1. Other people. No really. They’re the worst. I don’t even want to queue up anymore with all the toxic tryhards that think a +5 should be scrutinized and played like a tournament with prize money. No thanks. I’ll pass. Not something Blizzard can fix unfortunately but there it is.

  • The same affixes all week. Random on each key will be much more fun.

  • Some affix combination are just plain stupid.

  • Too many trash pack makes skips and utility tricks too good to pass, a better balance is much needed.

Each season has a tabard. Each season = different color
At the end of each season, provided you have the season keystone achievement (+10 for each dungeon) you receive the tabard which the highest key lvl you have done on it (in roman numerals for some class).
So if your highest key was a 16 for example, you receive at the end of the season your tabard with the seasons color scheme and a fat XVI on the front.

Probably a bad idea, probably won’t be used much, but probably wouldn’t take too much effort to implement

A lot of great suggestions here! It appears as though some issues are agreed upon by most people, at least in this thread. Maybe someone at Blizzard accidentally stumble upon the EU forums one of these days and read some of this.

Just a side note that has nothing to do with Blizzard, but is kind of on-topic: 3-chesting a +15 should yield more rio score than 1-chesting a +16^^ I found out yesterday that it doesn’t, which really surprised me. FH15+3 < FH16+1…

Yup. That is what I am saying already for a long time, together with other suggestions to make raiderio more progress-friendly.

To be honest, I love m+ and loved it since the introduction in legion and I would probably stopped playing the game if m+ wasn’t here. The only thing that bothers me is, you cannot ap farm as you could in legion.

I don’t like that some weeks are just ridiculous hard compared to some weeks- Sots with bolstering anyone?!! or Kings rest with Teaming, Fortified and Bbolstering? WM with sanguine and quaking …you can go on…

I don’t like the randomness of the keys, my little group haven’t had a freehold key for many, many weeks now. usually kings rest - > SOB -> and then back to kings rest… at least implement so it can’t go back to the old key or something?

I do understand that some affixes makes certain places better or easier, but there is always one or two places that are ALWAYS the most easy one (freehold looking at you).

Maybe give us more rewards? like transmogs or something?
