Hi, I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for a very long time I’ve always played it mainly for the fun and open world. Recently I got hooked on raid healing, but what I don’t understand is that mythic raids are locked to ID once a week. I read somewhere it’s on ID because it’s supposed to be similar to M+ (that if the party sticks together you finish it if not, it falls apart and you don’t finish that given dungeon). That kind of idea is nice, but I think it annoys most players that mythic raid has ID. Yes it’s the case that if someone leaved M+ you are out of luck and that given dungeon won’t go away, but! As soon as you leave a group you can look for another M+ and go the same M+ as many times as you want, over and over again. Why is it like that in Raid? I don’t understand… I personally don’t currently have a guild to progress mythic raid with, our original guild broke up and now I’m on the bench in another one (yes this is more my problem) but I don’t understand why people who might want to help a guild or friends, who don’t play World of Warcraft that much or who are just learning the mechanics of mythic raid and stuff like that, if they want to progress in mythic raid they have to look for another guild and decide between friends and the game, which makes no sense to me… And having to have more characters just for this doesn’t make sense to me either, I’d say progression is pretty time consuming and not everyone has time to play more than 1 character. So it would make sense to me to keep the mythic raid open like the other raid difficulties. If it’s about affecting the first kill of mythic as far as e-sports are concerned, I think it wouldn’t be a problem to have the Id locked for the first 2 weeks and then unlocked for the 3rd week and it would work the same as hc raid and the like. I think that’s what annoys a lot of people about the raids, but they don’t speak up because they don’t expect their opinion to change anything. For me it just looks like you have to choose between a game or friends… Which I dont like, about a game that is supposed to be based on friends and friendly play style and I think current state of the game is not like that. And I think that’s pretty contrary to how it works.
I would also like to comment on the weekly reward from the vault. I’ve been playing since the beginning of the season, I’ve been going raids and M+ and since the beginning of the season I’ve only had 3 items in my currency that are useful to me… This annoys people a lot and it spoils their enjoyment of the game, everyone is looking forward to the new week to open a vault and finally get an item they need and then 3 weeks in a row they take a socket because they can’t take a night better and then they have more sockets than they can use at all… It becomes really exhausting to keep trying for another weekly reward from vault when, over the course of a month, you might only get one item that you actually want or need. I think some people end up quitting because of this… From our perspective—me and my friends—it could be fixed by allowing players to pick any item they want if, for instance, they don’t get anything useful after two vault weeks. This way, you wouldn’t get exactly what you want every week, but you’d know that in the second or third week, you’d be guaranteed at least one item. This would give people motivation to keep playing, even if they’re having terrible luck with item drops, like me.
We’re looking forward to the anticipated changes
