The spawn rates on mythril are super low or players/bots have just mined it dry. Been trying to lvl my JC past mythril for 2 days and its been insane. Upping the spawn rates only impacts gold farmers and bots. So honestly I don’t see a down side.
Too many people playing. Servers are too big now, and the nodes are the same.
I’m on a fresh server and there is a huge lack of Truesilver/Mithril nodes around. Even at unsociable hours
they should up the frequency of respawns. It’s really because many people or even bots are farming them.
/who Hinterlands shows a lack of people here right now. Been doing loops for 2 days just trying to level up and there’s so little here.
Some zones have also less mines… for example Un’goro crater is amazing for thorium… in 30 minutes i get around 100-200 ores just running around. But for Iron and Mithril… i didn’t find any good spot.
they should up the times they use the ban bot hammer instead
The weird thing is. I can’t open my eyelids for 5 seconds without seeing thorium pop up on the map. Found 2 rich veins spawned right next to each other. Though mythril may as well be from mars. For all the good it does. Honestly I think the spawns are bugged. Went through 4 zones and found like 3 nodes.
that’s exactly my experience aswell… Thorium mines just spawned like a couple of seconds in some cases after being mined. Never happened the same with Iron/Tin/Mithril
maybe 10 bots running around the clock
Thorium isn’t the problem. Mithril and Truesilver seem to be non existent. Trying to level my JC on a fresh server is proving difficult. I can’t wait to hit Thorium
Go to un’goro when thorium pops up, you won’t regret it.
Yeah, it’s weird. Some ressources respawn incredibly fast, others very slowly. The problem is that no matter what Blizzard does, there will always people who complain about it. If they increase the rates it will be “now the AHs are flooded with mats and products” or “now the servers are flooded with vendor gold because of ore flipping”. If they don’t increase the rates people cry about leveling professions being too slow … So yeah, business as usual.
Having just done this myself, I’ve found it easy in Hinterlands - not saying it didn’t take a bit of time but it only took about 2-3 hours to get all I needed.
Fresh server had 0 Iron Ore on the AH the other day. There’s a severe lack of it. Hinterlands is completely dry and im alone there while looking for Mithril/Truesilver.
Some players would delve the mines of moria for a few extra gold coins in their purse. You will always get those players. They will move on. To what ever happens to be the next big raw gold farm. Changing spawn rates on mythril wouldn’t make a difference to raw gold on the market. It might crash prices for those people who want to sell mythril. However that’s kind of the point. It would be an inefficient gold farm and players/farmers/bots would naturally move on. It would make playing the game as intended possible. But that is my 10 cents worth. So…
I recommend going inside Maraoduon from orange side.
There are about 7 nodes in the instance.
Something is weird though, Mithril is selling for massive amounts while Thorium remains cheap. Traditionally you’d expect to see Thorium being more expensive, maybe bots are farming it in dungeons or something because in my attempts to farm Thorium it was clear it was not worth the time vs the price.
Mithril though, I sold it recently for record price, like over 40g a stack.
The amount of RTV in EPL which I don’t remember being there in TBC might be why, I ran round and got 20 ore in about 5 minutes after 3-4 nodes in a row. Mithril, however, requires more given the crafting cost is 2:1 compared to Thoriums 1:1 for JC.
what i found out is that i can get more ores from stealthing dungeons on the rogue than open world, even at 4 am u will get more nodes in dungeons playing on thekal.
got my iron in razorfen kraul, my mithril in maraudon. hopefully thorium is gonna be ok because a lot of zones are full with it
