An unmarked ship in Booty Bay has been making regular journeys to the northeast, ferrying visitors to lands that should by all accounts be entirely barren. Warlocks purchasing soul shards in the underbellies of the great cities of Azeroth have started finding obols, instead- strange coins of heavy bronze, at the heart of which glows a soul-stone cabochon.
The former jailers of the Violet Hold can’t account for all of the beasts and fiends once under their care- an entire wing of the storied prison fell into the sea during the Fall. Rumours swirl about these escaped demons and cosmic aberrations making a run for the Dark Portal during the chaos; and establishing themselves in an abandoned fishing village to the south.
To the dark, the daring, or the desperate- or even just the not-as-penitent-as-they-seem- there may be opportunities brewing in New Surwich.
