Naga race for Midnight please. Just visage form it. Turn into fish elf when mounted. Or actually animate the tail. I read something wrong that said it would be a race. My heart dropped when I discovered it hasn’t been confirmed. Made me realise how much I care about it. And fans would be so happy. Forest troll would be great too. But naga would fit in these upcoming expansions. I’m resorting to begging. Pllleaaassee. I know we had alot of elf races but it’s predominantly naga. Let’s keep talking about this until blizzard hopefully gives in lol
Forest trolls are effectively in due to the skin colour you can pick on Darkspear trolls now.
Unfortunately Blizzard doesn’t even try to tell these stories with a new character, so most people don’t know. Nevertheless…
As for naga, I’m still sceptical. However, given that dracthyr was added and wear almost nothing, perhaps it is indeed time.
The question is, what sacrifices need to be made visually, and for what reasons would they join the playable factions?

Will we get a new legged version of the naga? Like we did the nerubians? Or will we have literal snakes walking around in our capital cities?<.<
Also can Naga’s jump when they are on land?

I think that defeats the point. The whole thing that’s unique and fun about naga is the fact that they do not have legs.
I feel the same way about the nerubians. Art first I thought it was a lorelol based on the leaks, but they’re actually really well done. The only problem is that making an ascended Nerubian playable just makes it like all the other races.
I think maybe I just have playable races fatigue. Most of them have no story that you experience when you start paying them, and they’re all increasingly similar.
Pretty easy. Like snakes a or fish they can probably lift themselves up near the end of their tails, propelling the body forward with a jump. They’d then land to stand as they normally do.

Yeah I feel you on this one… We need a legit player race soon. With proper lore and world building to it.
New playable races shouldn’t just be a new skin you wear. It should come from somewhere and have lore and story.

On a more serious note though, the way the game lore is currently, including an allied Naga race requires quite a bit of lore gymnastics, they’d need to create some new some lore to fit this. Afaik, the only somewhat friendly naga are with the Illidari. But that’s ok if the new lore makes sense then why not?
Now for the forest trolls… Well the lore would make even less sense, as they are still hostile to the Blood Elves and they have a very old long standing feud with them. It was even part of the TBC lore, that diplomatic relations with the Horde ceased since they find out the Belf joined. The easier solution would be to give the muscly body type as customisable option to the Dark Spear trolls.
