Naguura's thinking on non-streamers players regarding bêta access

Lies, you are not a belf priest.

What are you on about now ?

What if I want access to a working build because I want my questing addon to have update as soon as the prepatch lands?

If the patch ever makes it to the PTR, then guess I’ll be able to do that, though I won’t have much time. But if it doesn’t - the launch is the earliest time I can start working on it, so it’s possible that players will have to wait a bit or play without it.

What if I want to win the lottery?

Same answer: The fact that you want to be in the beta doesn’t entitle you to be in the beta.

If you are a dev for an addon, write to Blizz and ask them to provide you with access. If they let you in, all good, if not, you’ll have to accept it and move on.

I once wrote to the press email and got a response that only devs get to invite people to betas. So tbh I’d have better chances by writing on twitter or the forums.

This was a funny read. Made my day.

Thanks

Then you should get off your high horse, stop making a questing addon and encourage people to actually enjoy the content the devs spent so many hours creating instead.

Blizz and streamers beta pets are useless. Gonna play TBCC cos i know how TBC looks, i experienced this game few years back so this marketing value is total shiit.
I can play TBC right now, no need beta. Anyway its test realm, they should focus on their bugs and dinosaurus servers, not marketing, TBC no need commercial.

This hasn’t been the case for quite some time with Blizzard games.
Ever since twitch became a thing, Blizzard betas have been mostly about exploiting streamers for free advertisement.
The bulk of bug testing happens in release now.

Just heared a lot of people say she got boosted to Gladiator because she was hardstuck at 1.9k. Maybe she is decent in PvE but thats still boosted.

I don’t know honestly about her pvp rating, but you can presume that person who does +25 keys knows a thing or two about the game.

Imagine watching this person’s streams

True but rude

You must be the classic’s alpha male with rotation: frostbolt-frostbolt-frostbolt-frostbolt-frostbolt-frostbolt-frostbolt gamer i guess.

She admitted to paying ingame gold for a boost for the 233 pvp wep.

People at that level do it all the time (method/echo/limit/pieces etc etc all paid for pvp boosts for some of their characters for the WF race).

But i agree she pushes +25’s and is in a top 100 mythic guild so is obviously skilled.

Can agree with what she says though. Streamer > pleb when it comes to beta, it drums up popularity and hype.
