After my friend Symexx did it on his survival hunter I have decided to put my Holy Priest to the test, after so many posts about how difficult Thorgast Layer 3 is and how he pulled it off only because he played hunter and used a pet! Sorry for the FPS, didn’t want to risk having in game fps drops while recording it!
This was a very fun challenge, clearing mobs was very difficult and required a lot of CC rotations, however the boss was a breeze. I’ll probably attempt it on layer 6 next week.
I’m not saying there is no skill involved but personally I would only be interested in seeing a melee without on demand self heals do it. Hunters have a personal tank. Holy priest is a healer. Ranged can begin combat from a safe distance and kite if they need to. Lets see a rogue do it.
Rogues don’t have personal tanks and can’t heal themselves the way healers can. I don’t know what else to say to you to make it clearer.
Also I did not ask for any videos or even comment on the hunter one up until now. I just noted that the person is using classes that are known to have good survivability while soloing and they’re both ranged. I’d be interested to see how something like a rogue would fare.
Please do point out where I’m whining. I’d really love to see it because according to my memory I haven’t whined about Torghast once. I actually really like it.
