He has a point though, why cant Nalthor just stand there and wait for you to come back up after you did the gauntlet?
You told me to learn to play, the boss resets when you’re alone vs him as soon as he casts dark exile. So, provide video proof of you soloing him. Show us how it’s done.

Why would the boss stop do half of mechanic to help bad people?
??? he still has to do the gauntlet, dodge the icicles and kill the mob, no mechanics removed
The boss can’t cast on you cause LOS. I guess that’s what makes the reset, the fact he can’t cast stuff on you.
Or he loses the target when you get pulled down and resets, cause I think you are untargetable while going down.
Edit: Since he not snaps on videos is the second part.
but you cant damage the boss from down there either and if you dont do it on time you die, once you get back up you resume having to deal with binds, his shield, comet and ice shard casts, you arent skipping any mechanics
couldnt care less myself, never had this situation happen but just seems dumb to have the boss reset midfight because there isnt more than 1 person
Problem is all bosses work like that, if they have no target they reset.

Bosses reset when they have no target, it’s not new so yeah learn to play.

Where did I say solo the boss? You complain about a boss mechanic you don’t know when it works as intended, if no one else is left alive he’ll dark exile you.
You and your group should learn to play, +7 isn’t that hard.
You’re telling me to learn to play when I’m saying the encounter is badly designed when you can’t kill it as the last man standing. Go solo the boss if it’s a learn to play issue.
It’s not badly designed, you’re just mad you wiped in one of the easiest dungeons in +7.
Idk why you insist so much on soloing the boss, learning how to play doesn’t mean you’re gonna solo all the content

It’s not badly designed, all the bosses reset when no player is around to be targetted, it’s nothing new, on this boss you can even be lucky and it’s the healer who’s the last alive in the gauntlet and they’re able to revive everyone else.
I can understand that some bosses can be overtuned or bugged but this isn’t one of those cases, if you didn’t wipe you wouldn’t even know the boss would reset, next time you and your group should play better so it doesn’t happen again.
