No, I expect to be able to kill the boss without him resetting even if I’m standing alone. Let players to do the gauntlet instead of resetting the encounter when the last player standing gets targeted by dark exile.

Then you start talking about “healer resses people”? Like, no. Entirely irrelevant if they res people once it’s reset. The boss is still at 100% hp again at that point.

but you cant damage the boss from down there either and if you dont do it on time you die, once you get back up you resume having to deal with binds, his shield, comet and ice shard casts, you arent skipping any mechanics

You arent skipping them no. But you are delaying them.

But it is. You won’t even be able to kill the boss the next expansion the way it works now, for mount farming.

Totally depends on the stat difference. Especially from Tier to Tier. Some people currently have problems with soloing kings rest due to the second boss behaving like Nalthor. This will be obsolete with Sanctum of Domination.
