Are we getting a name change service for TBCC?
I can’t remember if the original had it.
Kind of regretting this name now but don’t want to start over again now I’ve put a few days /played time into this char.
If the interwebs is correct the original date when paid name change was added was: October, 2007 which is TBC era.
So I don’t see why it would not be coming.
The Character name change service (called just “Name Change” by [Blizzard] or “Paid Character Name Change”) was introduced in late October 2007 and is part of [Character Services] support. It allows a [player] to make a one-time change to the [name] of a [player character] for a one time fee of US$10 or €8 (£6)

Ahh ok nice to know. 
Cheers for looking into it. Maybe it will be added in a later phase. Although probably at a much higher price knowing Blizzard.
If it arrives it will probably be the same price as it is on retail and ya a later phase addition sounds about right.
Delete your char make a friend make a char with the same name and restore it
Does not work for high level characters. Names are reserved by the account for a fairly long time after deletion.
30 days name reserve after lvl 30, tried that myself and did not work, the ONLY work around is to be mass reported for name and forced to rename but comes with a 3 days ban minimum as well
Hmm I’m level 28 at the moment. So will what Cupid suggested work for me? It’s a nice free work around if it does.
I’m a little hesitant to try it without confirmation lol.
