ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS name your hunter pets with the same name as your character if you are a PvP guy! So many times ppl actually attack, polymorph, fear or use other stuff on your pet, cuz they are distracted by the name

I hate to be ‘that dude’ that disagrees, but in a way, Demons coming with their own names makes sense to me. A hunter names his pet, but Demons have a higher sentience which suggests they already have names before we pluck them out of the nether/void/hell. (i’m not too up on the lore, sorry). But yeah, i quite like the way it’s done at the moment.

Well, the current random name could be the demon’s “true” name, and we could rename it under another. One way of incorporating it into the lore.

Just like all “possessed by demon” horror movies. You have to say the demon`s real name to perform exorcism on possessed/haunted person. You cant name them randomly.

Does anyone remember the bug that allowed you to rename your water elemental?
It was using a command from what I remember.
yeah…whats actually up with those flags lately? never noticed such a behavior before in such an excessive form.

Yes, I can see that some ppl would name them Blueberryjoe, Bigbladedemon or…Bob xD. So yeah I see the error in my post. Thank you all for your opinions =)
Sane thing happens with hunter pets. Don’t let the idiots get in the way of a good idea.
