Nameplates completely not working with DF prepatch

Nameplates just dont show up with the prepatch. Worked fine on beta. Even w/o any addons

You’ve probably used a nameplate addon that’s changed some nameplate variables to make the default plates tiny/invisible.
You’ll need to reset your CVars or use the CVar browser from Advanced Interface Options (the addon) to reset ‘nameplate’ based variables to their defaults.

I am also having this issue and I’ve reset everything

Had the same issue, persisted through an interface reset and was even still there after I scanned and repaired the game. Asked Google, landed here. Installed Advanced Interface Options, and for some reason the CVar “nameplateShowOnlyNames” was set to 1 (should’ve been 0). Changing it made my nameplates reappear. Thought I post it if anyone else finds their way here through the big G.

Hi, had the same problem.

/run SetCVar(“nameplateShowOnlyNames”,“0”)

solved the issue for me.
