I tried 4 characters, only on this one I see no nameplates. Yes it’s on, and the settings are the same as the other characters.
It feels like a bug, anyone else has this?
No addons installed btw!

I have the same problem! I can’t get the nameplates to work in default UI. I had to download the addon “plater”.

Yeah was going to do that, but it’s so weird, it’s only on 1 character 
P.S. Even with that, got issues, it only shows my primary target’s plate, nothing else. It seems a big mess this whole name plate thing on this character…

Each character has it’s own folder of settings within wow. What happens if you more or remove that character folder and then open the game again?
For me that would be World of Warcraft > _retail_ > WTF > Account > MyAccountName > RealmName and then I see a whole list of characters.
