Some people may know of the addon known as ‘Narcissus’, which allows you to make your own in-game screenshots and scenes using models to take pictures. You may have seen some pop up in some of the PCU event threads, such as Spiritual Unrest: https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/%F0%9F%91%BB-rp-plot-the-spiritual-unrest/159623/44
And the Cold Front 2: Dragonblight. https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/pcuconflict-rp-cold-front-two-dragonblight-1509/176781
The addon is amazing to allow you to craft screenshots of you and your character into various poses, with various items and spell effects, and allow you to craft scenes which go beyond what is possible in the game.
Where can I get Narcissus? https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/narcissus
Including in that link is a reddit thread that shows a video on how to use the program too, which I highly recommend.
I have also made a guide for people to follow along as well.
I hope you find this addon fun to use as you can use it to expand your role-play protentional by crafting screenshots to show everyone your story. And I hope you find my guide helpful.
Update:
I have made another guide. This goes into some extra bits that might help you out. So please, have a look!
I’ve used this for a long time just for the wardrobe features and how big it is compared to the standard UI one. still a incredibly nice addon to have.
Heard of Narcissus a while ago but never knew it had this many features, thank you for the tutorial on how to use it I know what I will be using next time I play on live servers
I have concluded (probably) a small project with Narcissus, where I wanted to depict my character’s backstory. It was really great fun to do, and I can bump the thread by sharing it!
