Greetings fellow WoW players, /reuploading this due to privacy rules /
I would like to share what happened to me on my own raid. I organised a Naxx 25 softres run and it was on master loot and there is a commonly known bug, which causes the loot of every wing end boss loot to appear as Group loot even if its on master looter. When we killed Kel’Thuzad the loot appeared as grp loot instead master loot and he pressed need on it on purpose then acting like he doesn’t know that he is exploiting this bug.
23 Player passed on the axe which I was reserved by master looter and he won it by roll due to the bug and left the raid. We submitted a ticket at least.
Anyone has suggestion / ideas what can I do now besides the raid members sent GM tickets ? Any chance they can help ? I guess next time have to be careful and tell 5-10 raid members to safety need on items. Every raid member respected the loot rules and accepted it, this guy remained silent and only acted on KT then instantly left the raid.
Everyone who says it was on fair terms and not exploiting a bug just think about it on a second and imagine yourself that is happening to you. If it goes unpunished, it will actually encourage players to abuse this bug and ninja from raid. It is what it is, if one sees that this can be done without punishment, whats the reason to not abuse it?
Aside from a ticket with proof (where he will get the item removed and probably a 7d suspension) there’s nothing much to be done but to make a post here with the proof so we can ignore him and he can never raid again on that realm.
Everyone has the same rights.
This can be a good thing or a bad thing depending the viewpoint.
Public name shaming is never okay though, this isn’t the middleages anymore where they put em on poles in the townsquare…
oh i do trust me, i wouldn be caught dead with toxic excrements that ninjaloot … you know by openly stating they are going to ninjaloot the item in advance …
Edited then,ty. But still, how can these players have rights to hid their name and avoid public shame after this actions?
Well, imagine someone will falsely acuse you of something shamefull (like ninjaing). It is protection against this. Every coin has always two sides. But yea… i understand that it sucks, if some dirtbag gets away with stuff like this. gl.
you don’t know the meaning of these words. Ninja looting is that you do something what was not announced and harming other players with it. Read Blizzard ToS of definition of scam and ninja looting. Ty
It isn’t really “Ninja” looting what he does.
He openly tells ppl he wants that particular item, basicly already taking the “Ninja” out of “Ninjalooting”.
He is just looting
I am anti-reserving items myself, but I wouldn’t call them ninja looters
no YOU are bending the definitions to suit yourself, ninjalooting is taking items without fair chance for everyone, doesnt matter what you THINK the definition is, YOU are nijalooter scum
