Naxxramas T3 recraft

So i’ve Heard about this T3 can be crafted while i didn’t even touch retail (had sub ) but the game was so boring i hardly played anymore and i was so hyped up!!
I thought myself , wow fun is back!! Probably some nostalgia quests , some hush through old things, fun in general!! And…it was indeed FUN… until i got to the point to really know how this T3 crafting is done.

So just few questions to really know what’s wrong with your head’s Devs.

You guys wanted to make casual players able to farm and get those beautiful old sets, and you actually did bring fun back with those lil questing here n there.
B u T
Sup with the goblin vendor needing 2.4+++ million gold for a full set?!
Sup with the drop chance that is maybe 2% for an armor that needs purify?!
And the best part of all those things is : you need the “drop dead & gorgeous” achievement to actually purchase the recipe and craft the major item to cleanse the piece for t3…

I know you guys didn’t want us casuals to touch those sets without farming but WHY did the WHALES that paid through your token and bought it from BMAH can have this achievement and they tend to make even more MILLIONS of gold charging for the item they can make?! Does this seem fair to you?!

It would be fair for the real OG’s that got the t3 sets back in the day to have the achievement & ΝΟΤ for the Bmah token with irl money black mafia traders.

I don’t know if you Devs know it… but you actually ruined the fun once AGAIN… i would love to even farm for a year to complete a set, but making me farm gold for both the crafter and the vendor and nothing else but gold gold n gold, or to force us (which 110%) of peeps will do, buy your token to swap for gold , you could have said it plain n raw instead.

Congratulations for the creativity and the quests to bring old school things back, and thanks for the ruined cherry on top of it at the end.

Last thing ------> Anyone that bought the set from Bmah and pretends he “hard earned it” vs the guys that originally got it back in the day, think again before replying.

Spending real money to swap with tokens and make gold to get T3 from bmah is the exact same value as the “casual” guys like myself you love to hate. Peace.
(And im not alone on this.)

#gold farmers without paying irl money to token exchange are excluded to this “rant”.

Still, it isn’t the same as the old OG T3 owners.
Casuals and bmah buyers are the SAME of value.

They wanted to respect the gold people have sunk into buying the pieces from the BMAH.

We’ve seen some datamining that indicates that T3 transmogs may be craftable, anything you can share about this?

Yeah, datamining reveals some interesting things. It’s something we’ve been exploring through the profession system broadly looking at no longer obtainable appearances. Old ones from ZG are ones we’ve touched on in the past. Enterprising adventurers and explorers who poke around in 10.1.5 looking at some of the related old content may find some interesting things there.

When it comes to Tier 3, we’re also very mindful of the fact of there are players out there who have spent millions of gold on the Black Market Auction House cobbling those sets together over years. There’s also folks who have these as their most prized possession from having raided vanilla Naxx forever ago.

Hypothetically speaking, if this were to be a thing in the game, we would take a much more judicious approach to availability of these crafts as to opposed to something like ZG. It should take significant investment and dedication as well as a bit of a gold sink to get all of this together so that ideally people feel like they have more control over chasing the appearances that they want from some legacy content. But someone who already got it all from the Black Market Auction House isn’t looking at this and saying ‘well that sucks and I feel like my investment has been devalued by this change’.

I lack gold to put into gold sinks so I tend to avoid them. Unfortunately this is not a set I will own.

I agree it’s once again an RNG fest with 1% droprates.

I farmed naxx on 12 chars for 2 resets, so that’s 120 dented tokens. Guess how many lamented pieces? Big fat zero.

Meanwhile I got some pieces on bmah for literally 10k. So yeah make of that what you will.

I managed to buy t3 on low pop server. I had almost no competition besides Dreadnaught Shoulders.

They made their first good decision and held up to their values with this craftable T3. It’s not a freebie and never will be. You have an alternate way of doing it now and thats what was asked for. Time to grind some gold.

Here’s the thing. The old company (you know, the one with the vision) and teams are gone, so asking all these “why, oh why” questions to Blizzard 2023 has little impact if any.

As soon as you acknowledge, accept, and digest this, you will be able to enjoy the game.

With or without a T3 set.

It’s ok if you can’t afford T3. It’s not for everyone. You can buy the item from normal ah. Use your gold or swipe your card.

So true… actiblizz on the scene
