Hello there
8.2 has been out a week now. I got a few topics I would like to share my thoughts on it.
- Nazjatar
-
The area is filled to the brim with mobs that in some cases ( depends on your gear ) can kill you in a few hits. The agro-range is insanely narrow and often I find myself being stuck in combat for 5-10 minutes, even though I killed everything in sight. Not sure if its only me but I get dazed very often! This and being stuck in combat 95% of the time is not fun at all.

I find the daily quest and the variety of the Ally quest a welcoming change to only running tedious World Quests. What I find much disturbing is the gathering quests. The items one needs like ‘Sticky Seaweed’ and others, are shared with everyone! Why? Veins and herbs disappear after a short while after it’s been activated, but does give other players an opportunity to gather the material. Why this isn’t the case with other quest items that are, not only sparse, but also spread all over a very dense and populated area, I just don’t understand.

If you compare the rep recieved in Nazjatar too Mechagon I find it odd that it’s far easier to aquire the necessary rep for the “Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder Part 2”. The Nazjatar is a much larger area than Mechagon and you can fly around on a jetpack which makes repgrinding, questing and gathering a lot easier.

Not much to say about this area other than I think it’s fun. I’m not sure if it’s the very welcoming feature of flight with the jetpack or the various crafting items you get access to. What is has in fun it lacks in accessibility. I don’t know if this will be implemented in the future, I might need to explore some more of the crafting items but I would like to see a form of “Gnomish transportation device” that would swoop me to Mechagon.

One thing I do find a bit annoying is the sharing of quests. Right now I have the “Abduction Reduction” quest. I need to shoot dowm some crates and catch whatever is in it. The thing is, there are a lot of players doing the same quest and I find it a annoying that they can catch the crate I shot down. I compare it to be the same as to kill a quest mob, have someone else loot it and then wait for respawn and then kill it again.

Repgrind here is way more accesable than in Nazjatar and the rares spawn quite often. What is the plands with this place after 3 weeks I wonder? There is little to no sentiment for me to go back here once I kill all the rares, get the mounts, the toys and all the recipes. Looking forward to see what’s next for this area
Thats all I have
