Why isn’t the portal account bound or something? I have it unlocked on my priest but in SL I decided to play a demon hunter and today I decided to farm the Yellow sword from Zereth mortis which wants me to get a fish from Nazjatar and it is locked for this character.
Why Nazjatar portal is not the same as those to the Cataclysm zones??? Now I am locked from an item because Nazjatar portal is character bound instead of being Account bound.
I want to ask will it be possible a warlock to summon me there with me not having the zone unlocked?
In my opinion this portal should be treated like Pathfinder. If it is 2 expansions old it should get unlocked. I don’t even ask to get the Cataclysm portal treatment to be unlocked by default. But at least to be account bound if nothing else.
Yes, I was thinking the same while intending to farm all mounts in Argus during SL season 3.
And during the same SL season 3, the Nazjatar portal took 45 min by quick questing on a horde alt. It should be less than 30 min right now, just do the quest chain on your DH and get the portal.
It’s not just Nazjatar. All those zones which were added during expansion cycle are locked behind quest chain. Broken Shore, Argus, Mechagon, Korthia ect.
And that is a huge problem. If Blizzard add items from a current expansion into an older one which zones are locked behind a quest chain it must be expected players may do it on an alt which does not have it unlocked. I like the way Quel’Danas works. I think it is unlocked by default. I am not quite certain but I think it is.
