Im more surprised the nerf to those weapons didnt happen sooner. Orbs deleted packs and weapons deleted bosses.
But it was fun to spear Amarth down to 40% hp on fort weeks.

Iâm actually not sure if it even makes sense to talk about balance here. The weapons are usable by anyone, so itâs not like itâs unfair to anyone that they are this strong. You could argue that it makes the dungeon significantly easier than other dungeons and that the dungeons should be similar in difficulty, but I think that making a dungeon that is tons of fun and a bit on the easier side, less fun and harder, is not the way to balance them, and they should rather make the unpopular and often harder dungeons more fun instead.
Itâs a good thing it was nerfed. Hopefully Necrotic Wake will be around the same level as the other dungeons now.
If they nerf the weapons they should also nerf the bosses.
Although it feels fine now because of the necrotic anima power the last boss would legit be a 6 minute fight without weapons.
I was sick of seeing all the Necrotic Wake boosts on my dungeon finder just because of how easy it was⌠glad to see this issue has been addressed!
A better fix is to allow only 1 weapon type use per bossâŚ
another change benefitting the 1%⌠how can blizzard justify spending time on this when world quests are still so buggy??
