Necrotic Wake weapons nerfed

Really Blizz? Did you really nerf it by 50%? This dungeon was perfect and balanced. You balanced whole dung and timer around these weapons. Why did you do that? What the hell is wrong with you?

Obviously it was too much fun. Can’t have that.

Seirously tho, they now need to adjust the bosses a bit. On higher keys this is going extend the last two boss fights considerably, especially in pugs, and especially the third boss is going to need significantly more coordination and could become a pug killer. Even pre-nerf, the third boss was hard to one-phase on Tyrannical even with with the spear. So now it would most likely be a 3-4 phase fight in uncoordinated pugs, and the last boss is just going to take forever with the hammer nerf, the boss absorb unchanged, and with one dps being out of the fight for most of it’s duration. That is unless the nerfed hammer is still enough to break the absorb.

I could see the new strat being saving all spears for the last two bosses.

And putting the equation in the negative during Tyrannical since the bosses you’d use it on takes longer to kill.

The dmg of the weapons in 1st week was absurd , ppl had NW ++18 done
It’s obviously a nerf , with discharged anima you could have pulled all the room and kill it with just the tank holding it , and did 60k dmg a second .
Have some decency in you .

there is a diference between balance and fun.

Last week our guild had a run that was perfectly in-time before the last boss and then the last boss died in 16 seconds. I would venture a guess that the dev team thinks +15 dungeon bosses should not fall over in 16 seconds and if they do, there’s something wrong with the instance’s design. And to be frank, I find it hard to disagree.

And? It was fun.

Blizzard noticed that players were mistakenly taking Kyrian players in their groups.
Obviously proper PVE players have to be Night Fae.

Maybe they’re finally realizing that the covenant dungeon bonuses aren’t as “small” as they made them out to be, but that they are actually really important and very impactful, and that they only created another barrier for entry by making them this way? Probably not…

Possibly but the NW ones can be used by anyone.

Well tbh they felt extremely overpowered when used correcly . The nerf was justified

The items like javelins and hammers, yes, but the Kyrian specific Anima Exhaust got nerfed as well.

Hope dies last, so maybe someone asked the developer to nerf necrotic (affix) and he misunderstood it. :slight_smile:

Me pulling 60% of the necropolis and killing it with 1 orb in a +17 was perfectly balanced?

Wasn’t balanced, but it sure was fun trying out what crazy things you can do with the weapons. I can’t think of anyone being mad that the weapons are too strong. All I got was positive opinions on how fun it is to blast with them.

But the OP literally stated it was perfect and balanced.

I’m just saying it wasn’t.

I’d love to get it back to the way it was but making a statement like the OP saying it’s balanced is just a lie.
