Need help for a Forsaken Warlock name

Hello Everyone.

I think for the first time I can’t find a way to name a character.
I usually like to play non chaotic characters.

I had come up with a backstory for my Warlock, starting like he used to be a Alliance mage, but got killed during Arthas invasion.
Now he’s converted to a Warlock.

But every time I come up with a name it’s usually a name more fitting for a Human character.
I would like to avoid names like Blightcaler, Felrain or Demonsummoner.

I was thinking something that would mean, either:

  • Emptiness;
  • Broken heart;
  • Lost someone you cared about;
  • Someone that has a living family, but needs to stay far away from them.

Thanks for your attention.
Cheers.

Thats actually not a bad thing
After all, every Forsaken - at least the palyable one - once were humans
The question is, how important for him his past is? Important enough to keep his name? Painfull reminder he can’t go back? Defiance, after all he lost, only his name ramined and even if Azeroth burns in hellfire, he will keep it?
Or want to change his name?
Few names come in mind according your list:

Hollowheart
Shallowhost
Painlaugh
Deathbearer
Mistwalker
Tombstone
Grimsmile
Burntbridge

Very important.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

After thinking about it, you are right.
His previous name would have no meaning as he can’t go back to his family.

A new name given to him would make more sense, with what his new reality is as opposed to his former name which probably lost his meaning, because he’s no longer part of that family or a mage.

I will take your suggestions.
Thank you, for your reply, Shadeprowler.
