HI all,
at the moment I’m using macros again with MW as it just works easier than having to click everytime for people.
But unless I mouseover that person the entire time, which can get difficult in arena after I cast soothing mists, my other heals will cancel the soothing mist to heal myself.
I use the below macro:
#showtooltipSpell Name
/use [@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] Spell Name
it works great, but as I said if I dont keep mouseovering (or if I remove the macro and just use it without, eveneloping mist and vivify will cancel the soothing and just be cast on myself if I dont have the target targetted.
so my real question is, is there a macro in which we can track for enveloping mist to heal the target that has soothing mist on it.
Not sure if that is any better for you all 3 main spells in 1, you can change out surging mist for vivify, hope it helps. #showtooltip
/cast [nomodifier, target=mouseover] Soothing Mist
/cast [modifier: shift, target=mouseover] Surging Mist
/cast [modifier: alt, target=mouseover] ()
/cast [modifier: ctrl, target=mouseover] enveloping mist
Appreciate the thought, but that wouldnt help it this case, it would still require the mouseover while in some moments when you also need to mouseover lets say a hostile target for a paralyse or something it wouldn’t work.
That’s why I came here to see if there would be a macro which would auto cast the spell if soothing mist is channeling on said target.
No. This goes against Blizzard’s design philosophy because it automates a choice that a player should have to make.
Best advice for arena; customise your UI such that you have good, large unitframes, appropriate for a 2-3 player team. For this purpose, I’d be stacking them directly next to my own icon, minimising mouse movements between us. If you aren’t using ElvUI, get ElvUI and spend some time setting it up to your liking
