Need Help with Alchemy (Dragon Isles)

I have had 6 explosions in a row without discovering anything. I am at 68 in Alchemy. I have 13 points spent in “Phial Experimentation” and 71 points overall in “Phial Mastery”. (Didn’t know experiments were going to fail so badly else would have filled points in experimentation first).

I have spent all my knowledge points. I have nothing to craft and level up. I am unable to Progress. Please let me know if there is a way to level alchemy.

Here is what I have already done.

  1. Crafted everything that had “First Craft” Tag.
  2. Collected all one time alchemy treasures that give +3 Knowledge points.
  3. Spoke to the hidden Alchemy trainer and got 10 points.
  4. Completed Weekly Alchemy Quest to get 3 points.
  5. Got 1 Dragon Shard from opening scout packs and submitted it to get 1 knowledge.
  6. Learned new recipes from AH (couple of them are too costly so couldn’t do them) and 1 from Cobalt Assembly, crafted to get 3 knowledge points/
  7. completed Darkmoon Faire and got 3 points
  8. Bought Artisan Consortium Profession Notes and got 10 points.
  9. currently looking for an inscriptor to buy Draconic Treatise on Alchemy to learn 1 point but that’s not going make a much difference.

Please let me know if there any other sources of knowledge points, cause i am stuck here since 2 days. IF there is no other way, then I will have to Grind Renown to level 14 or 24 to get some points which will take a lot of time and I don’t think I want to do that.

Feedback to blizzard based on my experience.

  1. 4 Hour Cool-down: Its very very punishing frustating cool down. I had 5 explosions in a row. I wanted to level up my Alchemy during the weekend, but couldn’t because of this. @ days I couldn’t do anything.
  2. Liquid Courage: should be available more easily and more often. Else people are going to go mad with these serial explosions.
  3. Knowledge Points reset: Players should be allowed to reset Knowledge points at-least once or with some heavy CDS + penalty. We are all new to profession, no one know which is the best. Locking in to points when you are new to a profession is bad. I know the concern is some folks will misuse it learn everything in no time. But punishing entire player base for those 1% min/maxers is bad design.
  4. There is no other reliable source of leveling Alchemy other than experimentation beyond a certain point. This is also bad design. there should be some way to level even if its slower.

Alchemy looks very fun, but this explosion rate and 4 hour CD is ruining the experience for me.

Thanks
Razz
