But context makes a HUGE difference. And the context of the whole background that the OP shared makes it bad. Yes that’s MY opinion (and probably that of several others too), but that doesn’t make it any less meaningful.
PS: you only reacted to that part of my post. Not the ACTUAL point I was making that it’s not as much about the actual behaviour, but the reason/legitimacy of this thread.
It’s a PvP mode. Don’t like PvP? Simply turn it off and the problem disappears. A non issue - but I know people like to get offended about stuff! 
This is a good post, I love the idea of niche WPvP. Gathering people’s opinions is a good thing. Shame the thread got derailed. Hopefully it can get back on track. So what if some interest in their guild is generated, a good thing!

I used to be heavily into wpvp, some of the best moments in my wow life. I’d love to go back to it, alas its just not what it used to be.
I know some of the Alliance rpers on AD, some are quite cool with PvP aspect and others… well lets just say a straight jacket could not contain their sour grapes. Best of luck with the guild.

Potentially, though as you say, the concept is rather niche. I wouldn’t expect longevity from it unless it was run by an already substantial number of already close friends.
Not so much, sounds like a lot of effort to find a decent number of players willing to do the same. For what can essentially be done just normally. I cant speak personally about wpvp anymore as I’ve been out of the loop for nigh on two years or more.
Remembering how numbers were back then in the twilight months of wpvp on DefiasBrotherhood… it was hard enough to find 10 willing wpvp participants to play effectively, let alone try and see if I could find that along with the willingness to change name and all that jazz.
I do honestly hope and wish your guild all the best… if I can be bold enough to offer advice, not knowing if you need it or not, is that try and stay as far away from drama as possible. Keep it all in the ability’s and the kills.
