hi, i need choose MacBook that will play wow at least 10 years . but i need budget . can someone help to know progress on minimum requirements of wow to make choose easier ? I’m thinking MacBook 2020 will enough for that .
Not even talking about the hardware, but the OS version alone won’t even be supported for 10 years on a mac
System requirements increase with every expansion.
So getting an already 5 year old MacBook and wanting to keep using it for 10 years means 15 years old hardware at that point… i hink there is no commenting needed on how unrealistic that is.
on PC i think is differently. it can run even window 7 . i thought MacBooks is same that PCs minimum requirement progress for wow.
You can see the Mac requirements here:

i know that requirements. but i need know for future expansions progress according previous wow expansion on MacBook. i think MacBook 2020 pro will handle wow at last 7 8 years .
I don’t think so but you should ask people who own a mac
Don’t buy an Intel MBP. macOS 26 (aka Tahoe), releasing this year, will be the last X86 macOS.
So, at a minimum, look at purchasing a refurbed M2 Pro MBP. M3 Pro is better if you can afford it (the GPU is much more advanced than the M2). 32 GB RAM should be your minimum, and ideally a 1 TB+ SSD (you can’t upgrade it after purchase).
FWIW I play WoW on an 48 GB M4 Pro Mac mini, and it runs like a dream. It doesn’t even break a sweat.
I have a 2020 Imac desktop. I know it’s a different animal to your considerations. However I have yet to have a computer which has lasted for 10 years. They all wear out or computer porgrams outgear them. I’ve had home computers, both Windows and Macs, since 2001.
I can’t help you with budget Macs but you might find a refurbished one on the Apple store. Buy the most recent dated one you can find is my advice. 2020 is already five years ago and my 2020 desktop, though it still works well, is beginning to slow down a little. Who knows what the next WoW expansion will bring though in terms of system requirements. Always think ahead with computers.
