"Needs more information"

I’m at a brick wall that the GMs are making impossible to climb and really need help with this one. Long story short, the account was hacked on September 23rd and got it back on September 29th. Once logged all the characters of course did not have any gear so I put a new ticket in to hopefully get my SWP gear back. Well, they relocked the account and I put ANOTHER ticket in to have it unlocked. I put documents in there proving it was me. A week and a half goes by and get the “need more information”. So, did what was asked and I took a picture of my ID next to my face and a picture next to a blizzard news post with the current date. I Get another response about a week and a half again with “needs more information”. This time I again do what was asked and then some by providing my ID photocopied, My Passport photocopied, and a picture with my face in it next to my ID. Another week and a half goes by and get the “needs more information” again. This message was the EXACT same one asking for everything that I already provided. What more can I do to prove that it is me?!?!?!?!? I don’t know how else to prove it’s me other than you know a state ID and a f******* passport and pictures of my face next to my ID. I’m lost at this point. It’s been 38 days since I’ve been locked out of my wow account and this current ticket is 36 days old. I’ve missed the launch of WotLK and like this just sucks. I’ve literally done EVERYTHING the GMs have asked and just keep getting the runaround of “needs more information”.

Edit: they also asked that I provide a notepad/.txt file (which I did) with my blizzard account email, secret answer, and full name of the account created with.

Is there any kind of misspelling on your account name or is it a fake name?

nope, nothing fake, and all the infromations I have access to my blizzard account and all the other games just my wow EU account is locked. the last response was:

  • A photo of your government issued ID (This cannot be a Military ID)
  • A photo of the same Government Issued ID held next to your face.
  • A photo of the same Government Issued ID placed on top of a recently dated public document such as a newspaper from the last 7 days day."

This response was Literally the exact same as the first time they responded 4 weeks ago so I gave them exactly what they asked for that time. Also, the GM didn’t even say what I’m missing just that I’m missing documents. So what documents am I missing??? it’s laughable at this point.

While I can’t check your specific ticket, often times this comes down to the file not actually being submitted - either not Attaching it after selecting, or a browser extension or privacy feature interfering with the file upload. It may be worth re-sending the information via another browser, in a reply to the same ticket, to make sure it’s gone through.

Note that you won’t see any files previously uploaded in your Ticket History, as these are only visible by our Game Masters.
