Negative influence from Acti

Why are you still posting then? Can’t walk away?

And lol at grow up. You post stuff you didn’t even bother to read or understand. So mature.

Actiblizz is the best we’ve ever had to be honest. I don’t know how people can be so blind. If it all goes pay to win, we automatically are superior to poor people.

What’s not to love?

As I understand it, Activision, Blizzard, Gold and Activision Blizzard are 3 separate autonomous companies (Activision Blizzard being the holding company). I don’t think Blizzard can buy themselves out anymore that your legs could buy themselves out from the rest of your body.

With regard to the investigation regarding securities fraud, that, I believe has nothing to do with the way any of the companies operate with regard to the games and will most likely result in prosecutions against individuals rather than the companies.

ActivisionBlizzard: Mother
Activision: Subsidiary
Blizzard: Subsidiary

That’s the company structure. From a legal perspective, ActivisionBlizzard is the organisation and is the registered juridical entity, and Activision and Blizzard are registered business with their own business number and considered their own entity, but are managed by the mother.

What this means is that everything the subsidiaries are doing, are under control by the mother. So while people are saying that Activision is running the show, the nuances is that it’s ActivisionBlizzard running the show, i.e the CEO and management group on the mother dictates the subsidiaries what they can and can’t do. Blizzard is trying to sell a story that they are in control, but the truth of the matter is that they aren’t, and everything is run by the mother in terms of projects and who gets funding on new developments.

Bungie was only tied on to Activision from a publisher point of view on a 10 year contract, open to negotiations. They left that publishing contract 2 years prior to its end. If Blizzard wants to split from the mother - like Bungie did back in 2007 with Microsoft - it’s as simple as someone buying Blizzard from the mother, and that mother wants to sell. In other words, someone has to approach ActivisionBlizzard in terms of buying Blizzard, and AcitvisionBlizzard has to be willing to sell. That’s the only way for Blizzard to break from ActivisionBlizzard.

“How dare you judge me like that” “You’re from silver moon, I expect no less”

Irony is a glitch.
