can we please start a petition, or do something to finally fix the mess that is the n.elf male design? they just look so terrible. in fact when i think aboot it, all the races look a bit daft. 20 years and they have never updated the race designs to look just a little less goofy

I don’t think the current employees at Blizzard care, but also, they lack talent to make decent models now.
The reason is that ActiBlizz pays badly and no good artist wants to work for them. But there are a lot of narcissistic pronoun army people who would take the low salary if they get a canvas to vomit their mess onto it.
I mean, look at the Drak’thyr. And even when they replace old models with new ones now (like the dryad) it’s a downgrade.
(Ok, this may have been harsh and a slight over-generalization, but the main points stand. They don’t have enough good resources, and the reason for that is what I said - low pay and not many talented people is willing to work for them when there are better opportunities)

We will see about that once Microsoft owns the company. Money will be then hardly the problem.
Exactly why I am pro-Microsoft buyout. It can only be an improvement if a more competent leadership makes these decisions. The current ones are some of the most incompetent imaginable.

Microsoft buyout won’t change that. It’s not a matter of not having money to pay the employee, it’s a matter of not wanting to do it since they had talent who just wanted to work at Blizzard for their portfolio, as Blizz was considered a great place to get experience in the 2005-2015 era. They did not need to search for talent ever, so it’s a fertile ground for exploitation.

At the same time, I think Blizzard shall STOP to use male human as default model for tier sets, on websites like wowhead.
Human male model makes ANY tier sets look 500% worse and tardish.
My solution is giving male Night Elves an option for Satyr transformation in Felwood. Like an allied race, male night elves are unplayable right now, hence 90% of night elves are female.
It is hilarious that this comes from a HUMAN MALE.

i don’t think you guys are being fair to the devs and designers, blizzard is still working with great people. yes it lost it’s prestigious tile of being a dream workplace but people who are working there are still some of the best out there. They can’t decide to redisgn things by themselves. it’s about management. That’s why i’m hopeful about the microsoft acquisition. Microsoft cares about satisfying customers more than activision so after the buyout they may start to listen what players want.
That is because they look hot 
females in almost any RPG are more worth playing for their looks alone.
And then there are games like Fallout, where you even gain a dmg bonus against males, who are generally more present in the endgame as antagonists, if you are a female.
It’s quite odd how all those maidens go for a “lowly” hooman indeed. Not exactly hypergamy!
Could be they are looking for someone happier. Thalassians are in general overly sad because of what Arthas did to Quel’Thalas to raise Kel’thuzad.
