No.
Leveling is part of the Classic experience.
If you want fast Pandaria experience, then you had to play Pandaria Remix.
I doesnt matter if you like the leveling or not…many people, like most of the people i wanted to play mop classic, just stopped playing or will soon stop
Ye well it’s not classic it’s mop and balance changes have already been made so it’s not like the classic community is still under the no changes movement and it’s not like we are playing actual mop either there is not even a raid finder.
People were 90 the morning after the launch. There is no need to nerf anything.
Yes because they abused other ways to level it is not possible to level while questing that fast please you classic players who min max everything really just can’t see the irony can you.
Um, before you fire shots at me, Im just saying it can be done. Im level 86, and doing every quest and enjoying myself. Surely wanting the XP nerfed would be min maxing?
Not really sure what you are aiming your rage at, but sure.
If there is a way for people to get to level 90 by abusing other ways of content then yes quests should be buffed when blizzard keep things like this in the game it always ends up killing it for casuals.
Just because there is a way for it to be done which includes 4 other people who are also down to play that much and do the exact same thing does not mean it should be kept.
Asking to be at an equal playing field for actually playing the game is not min maxing that would be going out of your way for an unfair advantage which classic players love to do even tho it goes against the integrity of what they wanted with classic in the first place.
Please name me one good thing that has come from people using things like this to gain xp/currency that promotes open world game play and player interaction.
it is not enjoyable at all for playing healers only especially when divided over 3 servers and 2 factions: looking at the pvp season starting very early. 86 86 86 85 atm.
because of some tasks i could not get holidays off for the launch also they announced the launching date so late so i couldnt prepare my working life to give me as much space as needed for this. In 1 week already the competition will start … so i have less than 2 days for each character to hit 90.
I think its not possible in a healthy way.
I strongly dislike this.
If in case they would offer 90 lvl in the blizz shop → I would purchase it without thinking x4.
I want to paly the enjoyable part of the game and not torture myself.
I mean for people who “enjoy” leveling (i cant imagine how this can be the case) - feel free to use stop xp on each level for a whole week or so to extend the “fun” …
Real game starts at 90.
Dont get me wrong i love the expansion and the areas its just the time until the pvp season starts is just too short.
So delay this or reduce the required exp please…
I mean if you want that classic experience you should be happy that lvling is slow like this you will get more out of that Classic experience if you want xp nerfed that means you want to lvl up quickly. Dungeons runs are best for that doesn’t matter if you nerfed xp or buff dungeons are always faster and they are even faster if you know how to speed run
I literally just hit lvl 90, 100% questing no dungeons.
My thoughts: it felt like i needed 1000 quests for each level, it felt extremely slow and tedious, felt like i was questing in vanilla wow. Its just simply way too slow for a “retail” version of wow. Because of this i will not be playing any alts unless they nerf this exp requirement.
They are not doing speed runs they are clearing the first set of mobs exiting the dungeon and queueing up again with no consequence of doing this.
And no i dont want that classic experience i want to play mop for pvp and the questline this is not classic mop it does not even have raidfinder stop with this cope.
Honestly I think questing has been very efficient and it’s only the people who want to dungeon spam their way to 90 that seem to be finding it slow.
I don’t think experience is a problem… its okay. Problem are servers, laggy af so your leveling time is doubled even tripled. You should get faster exp on your alts.
Couldn’t you do that in original? Because as far as i remember you still could quit the dungeon without deserter in shadowlands cause there was also a drama about people leaving dungeons after first boss and it was happening even in tww season 1 with arakara trinket people always find a way to play how they want to play and that to me is the wow experience in nutshell
Haha, yes, I’d pay 100€ with a smile to be honest. The classical gamer dad problem: Now that we have all the money and resources available to afford all the new Games and very expensive state of the art cutting edge PCs, we lack the time to actually pour hours upon hours into said games every day.
You could yes but people didnt know about this like they do now thats the problem with classic players they have to find things like this and yes it does matter as the people who do this get to lvl 90 within 4-5 hours vs the people who play the game are looking at 14-20 hours and the pvp season goes live next week they are going to be so far ahead from not actively playing the game.
the main difference between classic and retail is even if you quest you still level up fast thats not the case in mop.
Also yes people find a way to play how they want to play but one should not reward the player with 3-4x faster leveling while skipping the storyline on their first character.
Well the illusion here is cause its actually 10 levels of xp but the level number of ten is squished to 5
The 5 levels feel like 10 and this makes it feel slow.
Agree, i am 86 on one char and it took way too long, i have many chars i would like to try.
Well in Cata with dungeon leveling 5 feels like 5. You could do that in 1 evening.
The experience amount from quests actually seems about right from my hazy recollection of years past. You can’t really compare the story experience rewards from current retail to Classic as it’s called classic for a reason. From my vague memory I seem to remember levelling a level or so per zone.
People are in too much of a rush.
