Is there any validity to OP’s claim? Or are people just pile bombing him cause he was rude the first time?
I mean if the class balance is so off in prot palas favor… Its not a good thing for anyone else who wanna tank other classes.
The only validity here is that Prot Pala is indeed doing ridiculous amounts of damage. However at the same time it is extremely unforgiving to any mistakes, even at +10, which imo balances this out a lot.
On top of that, no one here has denied BDK(and brewmaster) isnt in need of buffs, the only one denying this is needed or will happen “because they never balance, tune, or rework mid patch” is OP, while we literally had several class reworks less than 2 weeks ago.
Additionally they decided to make a second thread on the exact same topic while their other one is still up and refuse to even acknowledge this, rubbing people the wrong way there as well, aside of their general hostile behaviour.
So doing more damage. Means they have an easier time tanking. Keeping aggro and all that…
But prot paladins have a draw back for this? They die easier?

Bit simplistic.
It’s a different answer if you slice it different ways. In lower keys (lets pretend that equates to generally lower skill) a prot pally is a “worse” choice since they have to press multiple buttons to live stuff that a druid or warrior would survive just by being there.
At the super top end they edge other classes out because they can survive just as well (in the right hands) but also do more damage.
The OP is simply looking at the extreme top end (0.001%) and drawing a conclusion based on that alone. Noting hes not close to that level.

I am kinda leaning in Dejarous lane to be honest. If we’re only talking about the very top end of mythic+ I dont see how the prot pallys are so OP it makes other classes unwanted for m+
Look at his logic for the requested nerf in his OP.
It’s “Look at runs”. Hes literally opening up raider.io and seeing pink at the top and getting mad. Thats the depth of his analysis and knowledge.
Yeah let’s be real here: if you want to form an opinion, you need to interact with said gamemode. So stop the cap. And I promise you any high key player is skilled at the game.

That is literally nonsen you have over 2OOk armor with armor uptime how ridiculous is this claim i have 56k on my dk when i dont even have bone shield up. Talking about uforgivness is complete nonsense.
It requires tremendous work and reworks are done based on the representation of the classes. As far as i know pala is the most represented class therefor has more reworks its that simple like zenthria you are literally admitting he has too much dmg and at the same time you say it well balanced

what are you even talking about. On lower keys you miss the item level and secondary stats therefor prot pala might be in more danger since you cant keep up some of the defensives. and you miss CD reduction from haste… of course you can die if you have this kind of window… but this is temporary problem and majority of prot palas dont know what they are doing… they just like the class fantasy and play it but dont know how… this has nothing to do with super top end but how it scales and again you jsut dont understand how it works always saying something that has zero facts
Nope, 3rd most, after bdk and Prot warrior. For tank specs at least, which is what we are talking about.
This is ofcourse, counting every single character that has done a +2 or higher at any point in this season.

Nobody is putting anything in your mouth you clearly mad and have zero understanding of this game . You literally dont know what you are talking about. Your solution is tu buff other tanks. It was already proven by logs that on average the closest tank is like 25% to 30% behind on dmg to prot pala. you cannot buff the rest of the tanks by 50% on their spells… that would be the most ridiculous thing to do. Then you can go with 20 bdk in mythic raid and just stand still and not do anything just drink tea it just further proves how little understanding you have.

Buff Prot paladin survivability please, they arent strong enough in raids. Just for that they should have their survivability buffed.

Thats the exact reason why they for instance played DH in MDI… Its just better on that keystone range which again proves the superior scaling of pala. clearly you should study how thigs work and then comment
