cant even climb above 1600 cause every game is rogue priest,they can even 1v2 on skirmishes,srsly nerf this class or delete it from the game the amount of stuns movement and dmg they have is gamebreaking

I miss the days rogues was just annoying with their cc and mobility.
Now they match the sustained of a dot class and burst of a ret… While still having the same cc/mobility.
It’s not the sole reason I’m hardstuck, no. But it is boring as F to face rogue every other game when they’re in this state…

Im confused on what you want nerfed about them on bgs as good rogue spends 90% of his bg in stealth either defending or going for a yoink and constantly just looking from battlegroundenemies where people are positioning and who has trinket cd and if he went defend somewhere
I spent almost my entire vanil playing as rogue doing arathi basins in a group like this for our hw, only the bad rogue will be in team fights most of time and there they are as useless as nipples on a bull as there is far better classes to throw in there on mass fight so again confused whats to nerf there
What comes to modern arena I think 20sec cd kidney and 7sec duration stun is bit too much especially on current meta 
If its their toolkit in bg you mean then remember smoke last 5 sec and to cap is 6sec so when the rogue bombs on flag if you are def its to bate, you run in smoke he will stop capping and sap and start capping again, you trinket sap to stop it and he blind you and caps. Always wait the smoke to clear or send pet or throw aoe
Even on def rogue is not supposed to fight the ones coming cap, his supposed to just be disruptive to their attempt to cap and stay stealth while he called inc
If he comes out to fight there is possibility there is druid and his suddenly on a 2v1 situation eating cc while they cap

Just about any class can do that in skirmishes if you play well, have gear and get lucky with the opponents you get.

As far as I recall they were always able to delete you while you can only watch.
They were basically always annoying with tons of CC and had more dmg than other classes as well.
Just remember a time in legion or something where sub was considered as “just” a CC bot but there were buffed so they can delete you afterwards.
they lost some and gained others but most others just lost, so makes them having a big net+
I mean they definitely did not need root break and immunity on sprint, when they clearly deleted it from enhance shamans as “op”. joke devs really

but of course rogues can just take out a player for 16+ seconds just by himself instantly, so he can make every 1vs2 into a 1vs1 and later when one is dead, he just runs till everything resets.

That was when assassination had been nerfed after Legion s1, which was a huge nerf, so it caused sub to be the go-to spec instead. Assassination was way over the top in Legion s1 though, so they needed to be nerfed.
But yeah, that led to the complaints about lack of damage output as sub, so that caused a huge buff for shadowblades. Even though they were still viable as sub, since sub is always viable as long as they’ve got that CC output. But they gave them damage because it’s Blizzard and they seem very protective of their flagship comp RMx for some reason.
Seen sub rogues deleting in 2 seconds lately.

I don’t remember what patch it was but there was a time all rogue’s did was supporting the mage while noodling damage out itself. But you’re still right, rogue’s have been good for longer than they’ve been bad
trust me you dont want to climb above 1.6 lol at 1.9 - 2.1 i faced about 30+ rogue/priests which we won most of them but it was really long / dampening boring games but yeah higher rates is just outlaw rogue spam & few dh/warriors and hunters

I think the issue a lot of people have with rogues is that the way to play against them is very scripted, and they have a toolkit that can punish you for going off that script.
My best advice would be to actually play with a rogue on your team, ideally on voice, and see how he’s setting up gos, so that you can in turn expect that when you’re facing rogues.
Also, it’s really important to track the stun DR on you and your partner(s). By knowing which of you has a trinket (or defensive useable in a stun) and who is coming off stun DR, you can predict not only who the target of the rogue will be, but give or take some seconds, when the next kidney is going to happen, because especially in this meta, they can’t wait too long between gos.
Unfortunately a lot is just going to require experience, especially when you face better rogue teams. They’ll start doing things like bait gos and clever swaps, and you shouldn’t feel bad about losing to a team playing that way, if you’re still just starting out.

50% of my 2s game have a rogue in it
they have the most insane toolkit if you give them more dmg than they should have it makes them the most broken class of the game and thats why we see them everywhere,its so ez to lv up a class and get gear and the 80%of ppl swapping to the most broken class on every season,i actually gonna try ffxiv to see whats going on,got tired of wow
