Nerf them for 50% so they are fun, meaningful, doable and we get them out the way. And that we do not group with other people who don’t want their time wasted by doing 5d chess pulls, with interrupts, healing cooldowns, and proper tank mitigation.
They are supposed to be endgame.

Clearing delves 11 literally the 1st day of their release… is not normal.
They were supposed to be hard from the start. For groups AND solo.
And now, there are people that have Soloed Delves 11 already. If you dont have the skill to do that (the 5D chess you mention) then do what everyone else does in any other end-game :

Mithic +10 is not even close to a Delve 11.
A delve 11, being the maximum available should be equivalent to an M+23 or something like that. Of DF. We will see how far they get this season.

Did delves in a group of 5 this evening.
All 4 were a cakewalk and the only deaths were “stood in bad” kind of stuff.
All this doom about “I got meleed for 11 billion health by a critter” and “the boss autoattacked me so hard it killed my whole family tree” has either been fixed or it was just hyperbole.
Some people are either made to be politicians or actors for Hollywood (your pick )
They are still pretty easy T8 solo, it’s just a pain in groups atm, and it is being fixed.
I was able to solo T8 as a tank (the people that are screwed most solo) with 587 ilevel, it’s even easier with many dps specs, at 604 havoc, I am not even thinking about it anymore.
If you wanna push beyond 8 (which there is no real reason to right now) then you probs need more ilevel.

i still dont understand why people want stuff nerfed when the content literaly was released 3 days ago, what the hell is wrong with you people, take your time and gear up if youre not skilled enough,the game literaly throws the recommended illvl in your face,you ignore it,get blasted in the face,and youre surprised your toon bites the dust.
Now sure,scaling is effed with solo play,but this doesnt seem your concern.

i think if they add few more power choices and that there is always choice of one out of two if u find item or something it would be even better
After reading hundreds of whinny posts about delves being overtuned and yare yare, I went in with my squishy Rogue 580 ilvl no enchants and beat all of them up to tier 8 first try, with no deaths…
I thought this was some Mage Tower pre-nerf level of overtuned crap but it’s not that difficult, and we are undergeared… People just being people I guess.
I’m not sure if they announced it but I’m hoping for higher levels every new season, I really enjoyed the experience there. Except the stupid dinosaur ninjapulling with the fear when I’m stealthed… f that…

It appears to be heavily nerfed already? Before all the hotfix drama I was comfortably clearing T8 delves, including on my ilvl575 Prot Warrior alt. It was challenging because almost everything was deadly and pulls needed to be done intelligently, but it was fine enough that I’d give myself a 99% success chance every one if I played well and concentrated.
Anyway, I just did a T8 Tak-Rethan, same ilvl575 alt. I used no strategy, no timed spell reflects, no kiting, failed and face tanked previously 1 shot abilities and I completed it with no deaths. I just ran in, tanked it like a dungeon with no respect for anything and I won. It was boring and easy.
I don’t know what they did, but it’s massively nerfed for a solo tank.
I have completed T8 delves solo as a healer, solo as a caster, and in a 4-player group. These are my impressions:
Doing it in a group has been the easiest by far, even between the two hotfixes when group scaling was whack. It doesn’t even remotely compare to the solo experience in any way: it’s a cakewalk in a group, at least if your tank is a BDK (I haven’t done delves with other tanks). It’s like tourist mode and at the end you get a 603/610 item and a 616 item in the chest. The effort/reward ratio is off when delves are done in a group.
Doing it solo as a healer wasn’t fun yesterday and still wasn’t fun today after the hotfix. If anything, I felt today that Brann was doing less damage. It’s still tedious and slow. Not hard, just not fun. The issue here is simply mob health, and that makes it boring.
Doing it as a caster (elemental shaman) was a pain. I did it, but it took more than twice as long as in the group and it wasn’t enjoyable. The main issues here were how much HP mobs have and for how much they hit in melee. 2-3M per hit in a T8 is excessive. It’s not the spell damage, it’s the inevitable melee hits because you can’t infinitely kite and slow while also doing enough damage. And there is no tank option for Brann, so every mob will be on you.
I can appreciate the challenge of getting this properly balanced, but delves are one of the few expansion-defining and heavily advertised features. Much more effort should have gone into designing and tuning this content, and it should have been done during the many months of alpha and beta – not after release.
By the time this gets fixed, the content will be irrelevant for progression-oriented players. Maybe delves will be better and more enjoyable in TWW S2, at least for those who’ll still play then.
Solo players want everything on a plate. All the gear and none of the challenge.
