Worst part about DK pvp is that it can be described as trying to chase roadrunner(s) while jogging on fresh tar carrying a bag full of lead on your back.
I have done BG’s on my warrior, mage and rogue and all of them even at low gear are like playing a different game.

No, not Night Fae. You absolutely can. Obliterate Leg and my Oblites are ranging from 7.5k - 9k on target dummies.
Players may take slightly less damage than Target Dummies if they’re high vers but I’m also missing out on my vers bonus (my DK is full PVP gear) so it’ll equal out. In BG’s I see 8k crits all the time.
How? I’ve seen rank 1 DKs with 227 ilvl full PvP gear do about 8k as Necrolords. How are you basically doing the same crits, unless the enemy players are literally with 0 versa?
Myself with almost full versa/mastery 198 ilvl gear I am averaging 6k crits with PoF and the on use trinket.

I had already burned my Inexorable Assault, you don’t need 5 stacks or high Mastery like Daealla claims, I have 20% haste, 23% Mas, 20% vers. Most of my gear is Haste + Vers.
On the right is my breakdown of just Obliterate casts. Maximum: 9,447
I burned IA on a non KF Obliterate before popping my PoF, that’s why the average was low, during PoF my lowest was 8,161.
I even had UH conduits in, but I don’t think Frost conduits make much difference.
That’s odd. I’m the same ilvl as you, and yet I’m doing nowhere near 9k crits. Is Koltira’s Favor really that powerful?
It’s only 10% in terms of raw individual numbers, but it’s a lot of damage over the course of the game. It won’t take 6k to 9k but it helps keeps the Obliterate chains flowing.
For Arenas Absolute Zero can be comp defining but I’m not a huge fan personally.
I think Fallen Crusader vs Razor Ice is a big factor. Razor Ice isn’t too great in PVP IMO. Fallen Crusader procs quite a lot, lines up well with PoF.
Weapon damage is important too.
