I was fighting against an unholy dk, then I got thirsty so went to get a drink for 3 minutes and I lost 80% of my hp during that time. What the hell is this spec?!

UH DK: Slow, DoT, work on festering wounds, buff pet, pop wounds with Apoc, summon Army / Big boy, proceed to do mediocre damage in the burst window.
Frost DK: Slow, walk up, smack with one obliterate that deals as much damage as 10 GCDs in Unholy

This is bs… obliterate does no damage unless it has a killing machine proc.
Frost dk do zero dps outside their cd burst phase.
If frost has to move during cds its dps just tanks… its also a heavily rng spec… if you dont proc runes during bos you do no dps…
Unholy has no rng. Its mega burst dps for bosses and insane aoe but again meh dps outside of burst but it doesnt lose dps when moving due to coil being ranged and pets doing most the dps
DK plays like a relic from 2010 it’s slow and even if it’s a class with cool theme it’s just too slow and boring to play and takes 10 times the effort to do stuff that I do with my mage.
Yup… playing a warrior then going to frost dk it takes 100 times the effort to pull off the same dps… i can just enrage bladestorm and do mega burst aoe as fury and a frost dk even using their 3m cd cant catch me…
They have big burst for bosses on pull though but dps nose dives afterwards…
Average dps as a frost dk in m+ is miles behind fury.

I main DK. When I spec Frost I constantly see large crits flying. 9k+ every GCD for 12seconds, and that’s only at 199 ilvl.
Not true, also their CD is on a 60second timer and lasts 12 seconds.
To be clear I am talking about PVP, not bosses or AOE in mythic+. Frost has just as good AOE right now though, especially in PVP.
Wrong… you get 100% if your obliterate spec and use 1 gcd to proc it… you get around 5 kf procs during this… it has a 1min cd to do it again. You havent got a clue how the class works.
Frost aoe is awful… its all rng hb procs with avalanche… you havent got a clue what yourw talking about…
Pala burst is miles better than frost… they can heal and bubble. Dk has a terrible heal which needs energy and to be in melee.
A warrior can just disarm a dk during burst and they cant do anything…
Crying ablut frost dk in pvp is like crying about survival in pve
Please don’t nerf the spec it’s the only DK spec i know how to play but if it’s actually that bad then I’ll accept it either way would be inconvenient for me if they nerf it to the ground.
I hate unholy play style so i had to go frost and i like the playstyle but damn its behind on burst compared to unholy… u holy easy reaching 14-18k while me as frost gets 8-11k

I just did a pull on a TD and got 7 Obliterates off. With higher ilvl, proper stats and more haste I could probably squeeze in an 8th.

But actually it’s a 48second CD to do it again.
You grip your targets in, cast Blinding Sleet or coordinate with your team to AOE stun and cast chill streak which chunks.
I never cried about Frost, nor am I comparing DK to other classes, I was emphasizing how much less work a Frost DK has to do than a UH, and how bloated the UH burst is.

Strong burst aoe is fury warrior… frost dk would need to pop all its cds for strong burst aoe… a fury can burst every pack…

I take it your DK is a Night Fae? Because you can’t come anywhere near 9k crits with 199 gear as a Necrolord.
Yes you can with 2h lego and kf but youd need decent mastery and 5 stacks of debuff and a decent 2h weapon
